I tried using this with a katana. the katana had the bluetooth turned on and was discoverable but this program said it couldn't connect with the phone because it was out of coverage area or the bluetooth wasn't turned on. any ideas?

was it saying that your device's bluetooth wasn't turned on or the other device? if you are using this on a wm 6.x device to access the katana it is also required that in the bluetooth settings that you change the security settings to none/off. I'm not sure if you can run this program on the katana but if you are then you will have to manually turn on your bluetooth for it probably doesnt have the same ability to toggle the radio as it does on a ppc

ok.....i gotcha, no just the device you are using the program on needs the program. I am willing to bet the the katana is verizon isn't it. They screw their customers here and there and making their bluetooth incompatable with other phone services is one of their crappiest yet.

give me some details too. make sure that when you go to the settings on your device that you actually have your own bluetooth on and operational (and not only on but discoverable yourself as to avoid any security issues) what device are you using anyway??? That would probably help as well
