Troubles though is they use a different device id. so we need a new SPL to unlock it. Once we have that, the roms for sprint or alltel, will not work on VZW. because they also use the 7500 chip, not the 7501. So everything has to be different.

VZW just sucks, I am going this week to buy out my alltel contracts, and then renew, so that when vzw does take over, they can not touch my contract. Then when those 2 years are up, I move on.

this phone sucks so bad, i went to vzw store to take a look at it, and i was holdin out mine from sprint and the representative was tellin me about it and what it does, so i pulled mine out and their jaws dropped lmaooo, the whole store was around me checkin that baby out. gettin ready to paint the battery cover to dark red wooot

i have verizon and i want a tp bad but im not gonna spend money on this thing........i guess im getting the omnia.......or should i buy a sprint tp and unlock it to run on vzw........damn they suck(vzw)

I say get the sprint pro and unlock because it has better screen then the omnia and keyboard but i dont use mine alot

i just found some info on moving the sprint pro to vzw......looks kind difficult

Yea or just go with the omnia to save a headache but i havent played with it but from what i hear its a great phone and i might try and get 1 off craigslist and flash it to sprint

the omnia is a really good device, its DIVIX approved to its video performance is better than HTC's
