Neec HelpPeople Section of HTC Touch Pro is empty

I hope this is the right place to ask this...if not I am sorry...I need help with my HTC Touch Pro...the People section is empty....how do I fix it? It is completely black with no options just says people...if I touch programs on the bottom it doesnt do anything...I added a few of the basic downloads to my phone today, the HTC home customizer, the resco explorer, the s2u2 and total commander. All seems to be working properly. I would greatly appreciate any assistance...thanks in advance!!

Try a soft reset

also are you clicking the plus sign to the right so you can add a contact?

I did the soft reset before I wrote this...didnt work...and the add buttons are gone...I hope I didnt do something really wrong

Try disabling tf3d by goin into settings/today then take off tf3d the click ok go back into that then renable it

You had to have played with the Manilla files for the Touchflo3d... There is no reason why it shouldnt work if you installed other apps. Worse comes to worse.....hard reset and problem solved!

sounds like you deleted or have some of your manila files corrupted.....i would try a har reset and see what that does..... it may not fix corrupted files so if it dfoesnt fix it you will have to reflash the rom onto your phone and than you will be golden.

Ive never hard reset before...does it delete everything...my contacts, ringtones, etc?

Yes it does i suggest backing up contacts,texts,calenders,tasks etc with pim backup

I know this must be such a noob question but what exactly is a pim backup? Ive only had my touch pro for 5 days...I used to have a palm treo and it was all backed up on my pc thru active sync with the exception of texts

Thats ok but its a app that backsup all info so all personal data will be backed up and once you restore but its around the site somewere

Thank you so much...hopefully this will work...I will look for the app. Just one last question....once I install the pim, then hard reset, once the phone is back on and I pim the info back it wont corrupt the phone again right being that the current state of my phone isnt perfect?

Install it after you hard reset and it wont corrupt anything

yup and just going to add so he doesnt think different.... you have to open after installed and run the backup and choose what you want it to backup before you hard reset and than install the app and use the restore file saved to your card to restore your settings that you chose.

in the future please try to do a search.. i found it about 10 from the top.

did you by any chance install the HD people tab because with some roms that will make your people page go blank. If thats the case then just uninstall the HD people tab
