I have a slightly off topic, but related question. What's the button combination to hard reset from a cold power state (i.e. completely off battery out)? Or do you wait put the battery back, go through initial boot and hard reset from there?

Reason I ask is on the mogul I could hard reset as soon as I popped the battery back in. On the TP, no combination I can find seems to work from a cold state. I end up letting it boot, run customizations, then hard reset from there.

well you can still use the landscape cab...it has the xtra sensitivity registry tweaks i made because they were to complex for the kitchen to cook in....the landscape tweaks should only work for tf3d2 but ill make a seperate cab for regular tf3d...give me about 2 minutes and it will be up.

the way i do it is after you pull the battery and put it back in you do not hit the power button to turn on.....you hold down the volume down button and center of dpad, then hold down power. you will then see a screen warning you about losing all data blah blah....hit volume up, it will restore (HR)....then hit volume up again to reboot.

While the phone is OFF hold down Vol down and the center button then hold down power button (still holding down the other two) and just continue holding all 3 and then wait till it comes up

thanks, just dont want to use the lancscape cab coz the tf3d doesnt support landscape and for some reason im using blue eye theme, when its on landscape it doesnt show the action screen its just looks weird

i guess i'm going to give up. this rom is fast and looks great but I am still having the same issues after I reflashed. I havent even tried installing the bbextreme theme i was using so I guess that wasnt the issue cuz I cant connect to the internet again. the keyboard issue is pretty annoying. i want to try to type something but only the numbers are available. I still keep getting that dogbark error each time I hard reset as well which isnt an issue. i just have to delete it each time. sometimes when I'm scrolling down or up it will freeze slightly as well. maybe when this rom is totally fixed I will try it again.

what hacks did you install??? there is one other person with the same issue....but she informed me that she HR, that was b4 she installed the cabs too....may just be a hiccup or something.....

ok dont wanna jinx anything but as of right now everything is working correctly. the only thing i didnt do that i was doing before was the voice command hack so i could hear the announcements in my bluetooth. keyboard is still on alpha which is good and internet is working. if anything changes i will let you know.

yo glad you finally got it to work.....i doubt you'll have any other issues(knockin on wood for ya).......sometimes there will be weird instances that make the flash buggy.....lets us know how it goes man.

you dont need to install any of those things....it is all included in the rom....that is probably why it is happing,....the only one you will need that isnt cooked in the rom is the sensitivity i posted on origianl thread......

The issues isn't the ROM polo its with the TF3d2 remember you have something that isn't even suppose to be available to us and you will have bugs just be patient and try to remember steps u took be fore nything happens so you can go back. I had the same issue and i hard reset you going to have cabs that may or may not work with the tf3d2 not the ROM it self so everyone please keep this in mind if your using the tf3d2 version and be thankful that that these guys worked as hard as they did to make this available to use cuz you could have a brick:camera:

go ahead an install the sensitivity cab posted above though....that would not cook in due to the kitchens limitations on reading the complexity of the tweak. it makes the entire rom like butter.

everything still seems ok even after the voice command hack that I just added. I have noticed (I noticed this earlier as well) that when I click on all people it opens up my contacts then quickly closes and starts up touchflo. is there a fix for this?

yea the TF3d2 it has a glitch but there is a cab for it xbmod_Manila_fix_V1C do a search here or on XDA it it will come up and then u need to DL the Sms fix 2 cab. or just go to the release thread for tf3d2 and the info is there

I would also advise you to wait The guys are up right now fixing the TF3d2 a lil bit more because of this know issues trying to find a way to cook that fix in so yea they are aware of some of the issues so please be patient

Well to all the fellas on the atr team just wanted to say wooow . i am absolutely floored the detail in this rom is awesome(love the splash screen by the way).ive used both the tf3d (extreamly fast,faster than anything ive flashed to date)as well as extreamly stable.also have been runnig tf3d2 version awesome guys still fast, and pretty damn stable. personally havent really run into any gliches with it either.i just wanted to honestly and ernestly say great job and thank all your hard work is evident in these roms right from the start up you guys should be very proud of what you have created a true work of art. well you made me a fan and cant wait to see what comes next . my hats off to the atr team.

im using bbextreme 5.0.....those are my screenies on original post...runs smooth and looks really nice due to the transparency of the entire theme.

all depends on ur style.....i personally loved shakass 2 ......i ran it for like 2 months lol,......a new BG everyother day and changin clocks... it was a whole new theme.....

As taylor stated, its no longer like the old pshutxp, u have to hold down the power key untill u see the pxshutxp menu appear.

This will be fixed in next version of bets tf3d2 rom which should be out sumtime today or tomorrow

Guys If you have tf3d2 rom go to the tf3d2 theme section, tf3d2 is new so only 3-4 themes are available so search, and if you have tf3d rom then go to tf3d theme section....

so I had this problem a lil earlier this morning and I went into the phones clock-settings and fixed the time.. noo need for a clock hack I softerset multiple times and pulled the battery so far so good been about 2hrs..

I'll bet I have loaded 40 or more different ROMs on this phone, and I gotta say this is the best one I have seen yet. Interface is absolutely beatiful, I love the stock tracker in TF3D, and the landscape mode blows my mind! Everything launched beautifully- even P.A.M., and I almost always have to jack with that to make it work. The sms/mms enhancements are over the top!
I did have a couple small issues, the "all contacts" button in the contacts tab crashes about 5 seconds after opening consistently- I did a hard reset but no luck. Not a big deal, just remapped right softkey to outlook contacts for now.

This is really just an issue w/ TF3D2... I have the same issues... its not that major to me, as my time is correct, just my upcoming appointment that showing funny, since its mainly the recurring simply going to the calander and adjusting it, worked fine for me... but if its that serious for so many people why not just flash the basic tf3d... until tf3d2 is finalized?

Glad to see most of the lil issues and bugs for the TF3D2 are being address, Since installing yesterday... I really love the rom fellas even w/ these minor bugs as their easy to work around... I see the ones I mentioned briefly yesterday are being addressed as well as some other minor ones ive come across since really running it for the past 24hrs.. (i.e. the office apps missing, btw... no biggie but thought Id point it out, there are multiple word Icons in the 2 in program folder, one in the office folder)... So that not withstanding there is only one more bug (i think it could just be an issue on my side) that i'd like to report, if you can look into it for the update... Im having an issue where, when I go into the email account, and I swipe right>left or vice versa, to go to the next message... its just highlightin but it doesnt take me to the next or previous message... can anyone else confirm this? I havent noticed it mentioned so it may just be an issue on my side, but if someone else can confirm it may be worth looking at.

Beyond that... this thing is sweet... Very fast, battery is amazing... took it off charger at 7:30pm, mild to moderate use (setting up my sashimi and user prefrences, light browsing to test internet, some texting and listening to music on my commute to work) by 11 am I had only lost 20-30percent battery, as was down to about 70 percent full... I diiggz brothas... as I would tell my moms or my gurl when they cook something good... yahll stuck yahll foot in this one good job...

One quick request, when yahll make the update available... would it be possible to just cabb up and attach whatever fixes yahll come up w/ so I and other lazy users wont have to reflash for things that are minor to me... I just dont feel like finding the time to reflash and set everything up again...lol... if ot its all good... no worries mates!

yea we are adding a new version of touchflo in to help with apps out side of tf3d for scrolling. We for some reason forgot to add touchflo thinkin the new manila engine had it already. But that is the reason for email scrolling not workin...that will be fixed in new build as well.

For you guys having clock issues, I had the same problem. Its probably due to the fact that you didnt disable touchflo before installing a theme. If you dont want to hard reset and start over, go to the dial pad click on menu, options, services, time synchronization and un check it. now go back to your clock and set the correct time and you should be good after that.

I would also recommend disabling touchflo if you are going to add a fix like the manila V1C fix for the all people crash.

I found this on the xda site which will allow you to add ur bookmarks to the internet page. Hope this helps

this has been discussed numerous times....there is no need to repeat, please read the entire thread b4 posting.....we only need to know about new bugs....and for everone else no more reports on tf3d2 bugs.....again it is in BETA and there is goin to be buggs but broski and I have fixed all known issues with it and are testing the new build before release.....the internet tab fix is already cooked in the new build so for those having issues be patient and it will be up later tonight or by tomorrow at the latest.....again NO MORE REPORTS ON TF3D2 bugs......

zay i believe he is talkin about touchFlo not 3d versions....its another engines for apps an proggies out side of manila and OS.......we decided to change sys's at the last minute and We must have forgotten to add the package for it....i didnt notice it untill I had someone point out it did not scroll through emails and other portions of the phone. I small mistake but eassily fixed.....it should make the scrollin in sytem and programs alot smoother as well......sorry bout the mistake guys but building 4 roms at the same time isnt easy.

confirmed... just tested the comm manager, and it is showing messed up... also tried to access it from the start menu > setting> connections tab, and same issue... Im sure theyll take a look at it when they get a chance...

we'll take a look at that.....there is no issue on my end for diamond, but i will have broski take a look at it for the Pro.
