bluetooth problems

Hey guys, I know I've been a complete stranger, but I'm having problems with my phone and you know I wouldn't go anywhere else...........lol

I have tried and tried to get bluetooth to connect and pair with my phone, and had a jabra BT paired with it at one time, but it never worked, it says it's paired but nothing through the bluetooth............

well got a new wireless stereo BT headset to stream music also, and when I went to pair it to the phone, it says "paired sucessfully" but nothing, AND on the BT screen where it shows "paired devices" in the window.......and below that it usually says "add device".............NOTHING!!!!!!!!! I mean nothing, I can't even add a device now.

I am running the NSFAN TouchFlo 2D Rom and have yet to get this to work. I really do NOT have the time right now to reflash my phone and redo all the apps and phonebook and all that crap right now..............any help greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!

Hmm, nothing in the bluetooth settings doesn't sound like a quick fix. Unfortunately, I've never come across this problem... or fortunately haven't..err sorry.

well angie..this was a very long time ago but i came across something similar with my mogul...unfortunately the only thing that fixed it was a hard reset...in ur case though if a hard reset doesnt help you're gonna have to reflash...and well about ur contacts and stuff i'd say the easiest way to restore all of that would be through PIMbackup...ive restored mine with PIM a few times now and its worked just fine...i know this wasnt exactly what u wanted to hear hunn but i think its the only way to go....sorry...

Also depending on which rom build of NFSFAN your running there was a problem with bluetooth on an older build which was fixed on the newer builds....

Are you running his recent version? 1.05-Alltel
if not here is the link assuming you have Alltel as a carrier right? :)

for the different carriers

I have my gfs touch running on this rom and its works great with her bluetooth no problems.

Also you might wanna try a reflash.

WOW! thanks Metal!!!! I've been checking his latest WM6.5 V7 out and I think I'm going to "have to make the time" to flash to this ROM!! Loving the look of that one, and from reading his posts of changes and stuff, seems he's fixed alot of the problems w/ BT and GPS, so maybe (just maybe) my GPS will work? Got nothing to lose.

awwww Dashy I know you do............and you know I still got the digits, gotta love it!

stupid, stupid question.............I've flashed before and have used the coke unlocker thingy, so I shouldn't have to do that step right, just go right to the ruu.exe and flash the rom? then of course install the alltel carrier cab...........

nope you dont have to run the unlocker again..... thats a one time deal...... just flash the rom as you would normally do and of course use the alltel carrier cab.

DONE!!! THIS ROM IS THE SHIZNIT MAN!! VERY NICE!!! LOVE IT, still didn't fix my GPS problem tho, I've got my BT streaming music, my MMS is back and working again, I gotta go over and give a shout out at XDA!!!!
