well it looks like i found what might have been killing my battery, it was weatherpanel automatically updating every 30 minutes..i turned that off and will see how that works today will at work..thanks for the help......

yes, that can also waste lots of battery, but remember to disable BOTH weather panels, the today, and swcked.

could have been..... i only had it update if i was using the default interface when i was going old school lmao..... jsut sooo much stuff on the rom too could have made a difference from what you are used to if you dont run loaded roms often.

thats supposed to be done after every flash to reset the pagepool and to make sure all registry strings are correct and updated.

go into start menu>settings>system tab>clear storage...

or turn off ur device, press and hold voluem down and center button together...while holding both buttons down, press and hold power button... continue holding all three until a hard reset warning pops up on the screen!

well basically just that and the homescreen of course are the differences..... many like rstg, mighty, etc are making both since 6.5 isnt quite yet stable enough in my opinion to be an everyday use phone...

this may be off topic and i may get flagged for it, how do i get rid of the custom boot? it still says atr v3. do i have to load sprint stock rom, then switch back, or is there a registry edit i can do to make it easier?

okay dash, i think you are right! we need to post how to take that boot screen off as a sticky maybe. as far as how to get rid of it, you have to flash back to stock via ZINC CABLE (.EXE FILE) not the .nbh file (sdcard). but next time you should go back to the thread where you got the app, rom, ect, from, because its been answer there MANY times.

just test it and not freezing more just lagging so you have to soft reset..... test it ut you will see what i mean..... also i seemed to not receive a lot calls and texts on 6.5 from what i was told and saw on others peopls device when they tried to call me or text me...

ok, i looked through all 8 pages before asking a question this time. here goes. it still alerts me whenever i get a new email, text, or call. it still shows in the top taskbar, however, it won't show in the middle screen. like i said before, i searched through all 8 pages, and never saw anyone else mention this issue.

yes, this is true, i had the same issue. so i flashed to a different rom, and installed the swcked shell cab, and everything works find now. i think is just a small bug on this rom.

So I flashed the 6.5 verson and it coo fix somethings but it just not stable enough for me yet...laggy have to do soft reset a lot mostly when using broswer for the internet gonna go back to the 6.1 verson it nice and stable...Just right for me..

How do i get rid of the auto correct feature? I mean i hate that whenever i type it gives like 4 words and then it auto corrects when it isn't even the word i want so it slows me down. How do i take it off? I going into the settings and in the config tools didn't help Anyone? Only and the is the newest update for the 6.1 verson.

aight just figured out the fix just anyone else has this problem...

Open up one of the QWERTY keyboards and tap the slider that says "ABC--T9" so that bubble is on the ABC side. This affects all the keyboards as well.

Just depends on the rom you have, your devices, and what apps your installing... some apps dont play well with the newer 6.5 builds... also not all roms are created equal and some are just better than other... but seeing as rstoyguy... is and expert in the rom building field, its more than likly something to do with what your doing on your end, as far as something your installing or your hardware having issues?

hmm didn't really install anything outside of wut came wit the rom expect the mike's d theme... it was just massive lag when typin and had issues wit having to soft reset when tryin to use web broswer it freezes..

File Explorer, Device\Windows\StartUp\ Delete or move Vistahide battery from that folder.

Note: You will no longer have the battery meter on top of your screen. I do not lag anymore after resetting my phone =).

wow so now it looks like my keyboard just stop working all together...when i slide it the keyboard light come on but doesn't respond to anything and the lights go off...ANY fixes out there?

yes they are... we dont do the gsm game aroudn here like xda doesnt do the cdma game..... there would be mad roms and mad confusion if a place specialized in both.
