He is talking about installing by a cab file. That you wont have to use DiamondConfig.

well in the .zip instructions he mentions a etensions add on (i guessed he mistyped extension)

Nah bro its not a mistyped there is a newer version of file exploror with an extension better then the original lets u do more

Nah bro simply install and that it u only have to have ur phone unlocked to flash to a custom rom

does it matter if the theme is on the main memory or the external card?

Well on some themes it does matter i try to always install them on my device ,sometimes when install in the storage card it just dont work the same for some reason

in touchflo 3d themes you have to have installed to the main memory sicne you are loading windows files... the phone will load all from the internal memory before the card thus resulting in the theme going from flicker of black to other or error messages not allowing touchflo to run properly or at all.

as said above, you dont have to have your phone unlocked to switch themes, HOWEVER, you will need the "clock fix" for most if not all of the custom theme clocks to work. so look for that and install prior to the theme, or better yet, unlock your phone and install a custom theme, then you wont have to worry about anything.

Hi Im trying to follow your directions to install the 'Diamond config tool' but when i click on the "here" button im told i do not have permission. How do I get around this or where else can I download this program? I thought i did download this to my phone but I am recieving an error "An unexpected error has occurred...". Please help

You have to use File Explorer and go to the Diamond Config folder and Delete the Tweaks file then you will be able to open up the Diamond Config

ok thanks. now... i have downloaded themes & I created a theme folder. How do i view the themes is Diamond tf3d config? Nothing shows in the drop down box and the theme folder doesn't open in the program

They cant be in the folder you downloaded them in , you have to open up the folder an just put the .themefile on your phone only. Place in a folder on your phone then use Diamond config it will show in the drop down.

Well said goku another thing id suggest would be make a new folder name it themes that way u can easily find ur themes just something dash taught us here .

hey sounds simply but i dont know much still i have a htc touch pro running off metro pcs but its a verizon phone which was flashed over to metro pcs.... i noticed it said the download the Diamond config tool' does this work for the htc touch pro?

Yes the Diamond Config still works on the Pro and is need with some theme's. Please also post in Members Introducition and Thanks

Yes the diamond config tool works on the touch pro... try getting to the noob thread will help u alot on how to,,,good luck ps:also make it to the intoduction section and introduce yourself..thnxs
