too ealry to tell uve only had it since friday and just got a chance to tinker with it last night..... im loving the pre thus far but will have to wait until i test longer to make a big decisiion like that......

yes it is, very true there, its like any new deivice, at first it is fun because it is new, i will know if it is the real deal on if i keep using and going back to it bcause of the same reason.... newness wears off but a great product wont.

Yes it is, very true there, its like any new deivice, at first it is fun because it is new, i will know if it is the real deal on if i keep using and going back to it bcause of the same reason.... Newness wears off but a great product wont.

looks good brada... i had to put my pre down and pick up the pro again.... i felt like i could do more with my pro and i am not referencing the fact of customization.... you'll see what i mean as u get more into it.. great video and awsome device...

he bro i now what it is whe are so use to wm apps and all whe can do the ui whe feel something is missing right lol its like love a ubuntu but i always go back to vista or 7 its totaly different its samething this wekend i use my friends iphone it whas fun but after few hours i realy whanted to go back to my touch lol i now am way off topic sorry dash

thanks and yeah i got 3 free months so i can use both at the same time :) but yeah one of the major things is downloading from the internet :( thats a big bummer for me.

im digging it dont get me wrong and as jew said its a great and phone device but it is new and we dont know how it is going to be shaped yet...... lots of things can and will change trust me, its just a matter of time to see if it is going to make itself successful or not... not gonna drop the pro as of yet but the pre has some mad potential.

not to get off topic, but here is what made me wanna change back..

1. no dl from internet browser
2. no forwarding text messages.
3. no saving attachments.
4. cant view powerpoint presentations.
5. cant change certain notification tones.
6. app store is limited (as of right now)

i asked @ precentral about a few features you mentioned and various members said that web downloading can be enabled (looks like a hack but cant confirm cuz i dont have a pre) and they need to create a file manager/organizer now that they gots the SDK so email attachments can be saved so they can be properly stored. Notifications can be changed as well with pimpmysounds i think (dunno if thats how but they said that it can be done) You are right about the app store though....

im still waiting for mine but my contract is up in sept and i only get 150 upgrade credit so it still knocks me back 400 buckaroos unless i can find a better deal elsewhere unless the Hero rears its face at sprint like mentioned
