not sure if this got answered already or not, but I ran into the same thing and hard reset also, then it happened again, but this time I went into start menu-- settings-- then today settings(try and remember where it is on the screen when this happens because as long as you hit the right location it will still open that menu) and I switched from my rock and republic theme to another one. When I went out to main today screen I went back in to start menu and all was fine again, I even switched back to rock and republic. Must be a small glitch somewhere but thats my quick fix, NO HARD RESET involved!!!!

BTW I did find out where the facebook integration was in 107, but it is a bit lacking per say.

Go to your contacts tab in TF3D2 and go to all people. When you see the list of all your contacts you will notice 4 avatar icons at the bottom and one of them have a small clock next to it. Under that tab you can login to Facebook. It doesn't have alot of options, but there is still Some small amount of integration with Facebook.

One thing *really picky on my side* but definitely not anything is when i am trying to open a contact to edit from the texting screen, it talkes all of about 10-15 secs....wow did i say that? Can I just say that NFSFAN is the premo cook!!! This rom 108 is ridiculously fast, has amazing battery life, and is smooth as frosting!!! To answer that age old question, Which Rom is the best? You need look no further! Havent been doing this very long but man I can recognize the best!! I hate to say it Wckediden but your boy just might have become a 1 rom man!!! Just finished my getting all my apps just the way i like and this happens!!!! hahaha Guess its flashing time again!! Will let yall know what the deal is....so far 107 was dope, lets see whta 108 has to offer.

so can anyone tell me if it has the clock fix and preloader? if it has it, i can't flash it. for some reason, my "fast switch" setup will not work with the tf3d2 preloader. it will switch from titanium to tf3d2 but it will not switch back. i have no idea what the preloader is doing but it messes up my setup. that's the main reason i went back to his 105.

his new rom is really slick BTW, fast as hell and smooth. I just wish it has the HTC menus cooked in rather than the crappy 6.5 ones (if anyone knows how to get them to work via cab install or tweak let me know)

-i found that Touchflo3d-2 a lot better integrated in Juicy8 cuz some landscape screens are cut off here but not with Juicy8, and some settings dont have the HTC skin like the wifi connection screen, it links to the standard WM wifi settings rather than the HTC version

-also Gmail wont work properly if created using Touchflo. I could not sync till i deleted the account and re-did it using the standard WM Messaging

-on a brighter note, this is the only rom i have tried that i installed Call Of Duty 2 and NeedForSpeed Undercover G-SEN that worked flawlessly without errors so im not dumping this rom yet

all in all, its a kick ass rom. few bugs/few things i would like implemented but good enough to stick around with till future releases

I think it probably would, if 105 works for you, he probably integrated it in 106 and then it would still be in there! I think I read about your fast switch, you set up the soft keys to go back and forth between touchflo and titanium right? I can give it a go and see if it works if you want?

that's what i was saying about version 105 that i'm still running. it also runs pandora with no probems at all.

I think it probably would, if 105 works for you, he probably integrated it in 106 and then it would still be in there! I think I read about your fast switch, you set up the soft keys to go back and forth between touchflo and titanium right? I can give it a go and see if it works if you want?

that would be great. the problem in the way i set it up (loading second today, tfdetatcher, tfdetcher WM 6.5 +TF3D2) is that if the setup doesn't work properly, the only way i've found to fix it is to hard reset. which sucks.

that being said. supposedly, Tech1 got it working with mortscript instead but it never worked for me.

i know exactly what you mean. you have NO idea how many roms i flashed to find one to play NeedForSpeed Undercover G-SEN and Pandora. it was just simply crazy.

so. if anyone out there knows how to setup my "fast switching" using mortscript, i think it may solve my problem where i could be able to use the newest roms with the preloader. if not, i will be on 105 for quite some time....

Hey guys, the contact card still wont let me add a picture from album. It doesn't do anything. The people tab still doesn't let me dial anything other than the number added when assigning my favorite. Look in the files in Juicy 8 at ppc and you will find the favorites fix.

thats the problem bro, enter a name in settings/personal/owner information and use the keygen to generate a key with your name

im so f*cking hooked on these 3d games man (make sure you use the 3d accelerated version)

i think these are known problems with tf3d2. i know that when installing manually using XBmod's stuff, there is a fix for the contact card and i know i have the fix for dialing other numbers once assigned. it's called gjakovic People Tab Fix.

you tried energy rom or mystery rom? ernergy is pretty solid, mystery is my next to flash, lol. but this is a great rom thou, is a very dependable rom, at least for me...

ugh.....

If you're using the default gmail imap settings, I'd try making a provisioning xml with makisu to use the pop settings instead. I've had much better success using that.

I didn't notice any improvements from my end.even the 106 version was kicking ass.I did noticed he tweaked the touchflo scrolling,its a bit smoother without me tweaking it.But he took out that transparent tabs which i kinda like it.For the email part i use seven email client so i dont have any issue at all with it since is based of the default setup.But overall i'm very impressed with it.Mighty has been kicked to the curb..hahahahahah

what version of seven do you use? the newer one has crashed on every rom i've tried, even this one. it continually locks up the email client after an email or two. so i install a couple of versions back and keep ignoring the "new update" message.

ive used every version for about 8 months now and havent had any troubles even with the newest.... runs fine on this rom too just got installed.

that's odd. they have posted problems with their lastest version. perhaps it's hardware related. there was a lot of people having the exact same problem.

do you have any settings other than the standard? what version are you using? i'm not using the standard version that's carrier based. i'm using one of the beta versions.

i have the latest...the install goes well.But i did have an issue when adding an account..i get errors.but i think it has something to do with the company's(seven) server...after 5 or 6 attempts it works well after that.

well well well what can i say, so far so good like expected... didnt fully get to test the battery but will today.. (seemed good throughout the night when i was using it for texts and little other things. the fluidity and speed are very nice and seem to have been upgraded fir sure.... the one thing that popped out at me right away was that it seemed as if the screen took less pressure to register the touch which is alwasy a plus..... havent ran into any isuues yet thus far and will report more not that i got a full day to test without people being sleeping already by the time i flash hahaha ill keep you pdated junkies

I put 108 on last night, and so far so good. Definitely haven't found any problems induced by the new version. Can't judge battery yet as it's only been off the charger for a couple hours, but still pretty snappy, low memory usage, and I'd agree with Dash that the screen feels a bit more responsive to lighter touch. It's light enough now it almost feels like a capacitive.

Mobile Shell is smooth and fast (moreso than on other roms I've tried), keyboard lag seems a bit improved (haven't tried any tweaks on it yet), and still very stable. The only hang I've had so far was from an S2U2 glitch, which I wouldn't even need if MS had added the ever so logical option to lock on wakeup.

The only thing I haven't been able to do yet is get SprintTV working (that cursed 7004 error).

Not that I've noticed. Looks normal to me so far.

Another question though. Anyone having odd behavior with word completion or the like? I believe it was happening both before and after I added the classic work completion tweak, but I'll see things like the cursor jump back a couple spaces after a period (really messes up entering URLs in Opera), and it behaves strangely with spaces (like it's trying to look up something for a second, then moves on). May pull the class work completion back out to verify it was happening before as well.

Edit: I just tested a couple things and it seems specific to Opera. When I enter a space in a text box (like google for example), there's an underscore for a moment, like it's trying to do a callback to the server or something. However, any keys pressed while that's happening are ignored, so if I'm typing fast, half of the word following a space is likely to be missed.

1.08 is wha tyou expect from nfsfan, speed, stability, clean, and fluent. cant say enough about the battery life, the speeds, the stabiliity, the reliability, etc...... you cant go wrong with this rom one bit.... nfsfan has me hooked like he does many other touch pro and vogue users. btw im also using the new telus radio in the michigan area with great results.

Also i forgot to mention.I was using "seven" the email client and few times i was having issue when the phone was freeze up for a bit then it'll be ok.So what i did was i uninstalled all my apps and test one by one.So the Seven software i think its not compatible with he 6.5 version,that ws the program that was freezing my phone up.

So i had to revert my using the default mail client..Hey mike you said that you was having issue with gmail on you phone with this rom..so far it working well.

i was having the occasional freeze when i came to that conclusion with seven.It only occurred when it was doing the automatic send and receive plus i couldn't open it. to view email..This is on the touchflo interface dash i know you use that default one.
