How about GPS? Is everyone's working on 108?

I've tried Garmin, Google Maps, Speed Sentry and Quick GPS with ZERO success.

i use sprint nav and dont have any troubles as well as google maps.... whats the error it gives you on why it cant connect? and did you run the cab for your carrier in the first post?

i use both google and sprint like dash and i have no issue..Did you installed the quick gps that posted here...you know it's not installed.. with this rom

you sure is not because of that green green dash?........ on topic now, this rom is VERY depandable! i love it. i've been on the new version since it was released and not a single issue. and that alienxtreme by probex doesnt look too shady on this either....hahaha.

Hammered 108 pretty heavily today. Good chunk of news and browsing, about 25 minutes worth of calls, some sudoku time, and still sitting at 60% battery after being off charger for 11 hours. Only thing I'm tracking right now is odd keyboard behavior in Opera (his tweaked version) which may be related to classic completion tweak, and trying to get SprintTV to run. No luck on that front.

see guys. i knew i wasn't losing my mind with the problems from the newer version of Seven. if you were to go back a few versions, you would find that version works perfectly.

lol..the only problem i had previously was trying to get the device noticed after 5 or 6 try's....when i was facing that minor freeze and it did to me on mighty roms i thought to uninstall it...and that fix my issue on the touchflo side... Its all good i try not to add alot of 3rd party apps,,,

d@mn... i can't get any good battery life from this Rom anymore, i used to get 13+ hours.. Did da pull battery and hard reset, even re-flashed a few times, any suggesetions or solutions. incoming beam is also off!!

Between Sashimi and Makisu, I've got the full reload down to just under an hour. Could probably get it much lower if I can learn how to do some of the scripts sashimi can support and settings provisions. Need to learn how to copy some of the ringtones from card to device, and set the power, screen, and notification options.

I like this ROM a lot. Very smooth and stable. Have been running it for a couple days now. Granted, it is mild as far as what it comes with so I had to add a couple custom things, but TF3D wont work (for me at least) and Nine tried to make me a custom start icon and start text, but it won't work for us 6.5. Back to the drawing board. Battery life is great, apps open and close w//o problem. I like the text layout and the 16-pg pool is nice. I will say that this ROM was gutted strictly for performance. Very light and missing a lot of little stuff that might help out making the PRO more user friendly. All in all, gr8 job. B+

you have touchflo 3d-2 and have to skin with a 3d2 skin only! that could be why that isnt working... and in nines thread yo uhad to state whether you wanted 6.1 or 6.5 as stated in the first post..... if you go back and ask him for it in 6.5 im sure he would be happy to do it for you when he gets a chance.

yeah I have sashimi too but its a little complicated plu it would be hard to trck down any programs causing bugs or glitches, much easier to catch when I install one by one.

Hey everybody...I need some help. I have this rom on my phone and my wifes phone and it is hard reseting once a day on mine but works perfectly on hers. I am trying to figure out if its something I installed but it seems that my phone and her phone have the same programs installed. The first signs before it craps out are that I go to open a program and it says the shortcut is no longer valid because the program is gone. I go to remove programs and all the installed programs are no longer there. I soft reset and it does a hard reset. I thought I had heard of this problem on another rom but I can't remember. Any ideas??? thx.

Sound like you didn't pull the battery out after flashing an then hard reset. But if you did do those steps what apps did you install ?

do these steps.
1. relock the phone
2. flash back to stock rom
3. unlock device again
4. flash back to this rom
5. take battery out for 1 minute
6. with phone still off hard reset device

I did. I've flashed a FEW roms. This last time, I left it without anything installed. Wierd. Gonna do Dash's suggestion below your original post.

dash. do you have any idea how i could make the "fast switching" work witha rom that has the TF3D preloader? it just refuses to switch with any rom that has it. i have no idea why. for some reason, the detacher just doesn't like the preloader.

Is there any reason why TF3D2 wouldn't be working on this rom? I tried to go to settings but I didn't find the option for today settings. I did the Hard Reset thing too? Something wrong or did I just read wrong lol

must be a bad download then, try to re-download the rom again. believe me, this rom has tf3d2, im on it right now.... and you are running the 108 release right?

lol, we also have an spanish section with latin roms. and also, next time you flash, make sure you pull the battery out for 1 minute right after flashing is completed, then hard reset okay.

Hey everyone. I'm have a repeated problem that i'm hoping somebody could help me solve it. I've been jumping around different roms and i came across the good reviews of this rom and I love most everything about it. It's really responsive. really fast. the battery life is decent so far too. The only problem i have (same as a few other roms) is that the screen often freezes. it will still be recording the screen taps but it will be frozen in the same spot for about 3-5 seconds. I've gotten this same problem with a few roms and found a few roms that don't have this problem. Has anybody seen the same thing and found a way to stop the freezes?

also, how do you get the radar to work inside the weather tab?

to get the radar to work u have to put in the url's for the cities u want by going to the radar screen and click on then hold down sylus on screen and a menu should pop up w/3 thing :

u chose the edit url and then u are able to put the url in of your choice

For what it's worth, no prob with gps here. Used sprint carrier cab, quick gps, and Garmin. It took Garmin a couple minutes to find the device, but after that first time it gets lock very fast. I've noticed in the past some apps have trouble (like live search) finding the GPS the first time around.

Thanx guys n i got tha sprint this and tha quick gps and i jus got sprint nav/telenav v5.5 n its workin and i got my bing/windows live workin n it got a lock ok it pretty fast 1st around after i did the soft reset
