I'm kind of curious to find out if it would be worth the switch, but im at school right now.

Real world test would be at least the 3MB file, but if you're getting those speeds then more power to you.

I personally like the new telus radio though. Went up a bar or two in service.

Tried the 1.12 alltel and it just didn't work well at all here in Nashville. It got stuck on 1x for like 4 minutes after soft reset.

I was under the impression that they were seperate and that uscellular and telus both just had radios with the same 1.07.06f and that uscellular was attatched under the attatchments and that you had to go up top to get the telus one.

That goes without saying that I don't know if they are identical or not.

and BTW, when compaired next to eachother in explorer, they are identical with the same file names and sizes.

Ok, both the US Cellular and Telus Radios(v1.07.06f) show v1.00.000 when I tried to flash either/both of them to my TP.

Usually the image version shows the Radio version, so I have NOT flashed the radio because of this above. Or is this a "glitch" and after flashing the radio shows the proper radio number?

Same way as you would to flash Roms. All it does is change the radio...nothing else is touched.

yes you can... but i suggest having a back up cricket radio or cricket stock rom to flash, just in case you find those other radio's not to be suitable for you network, or area, etc...

well after going threw alot of small crysis with my radio on my phone i am running this version 1.03.09V and it works like shit i can not get 4 hours of battery life if i talk and thats not even heavy i thought it was my battery but my friend at sprint gave me a brand new one and plus my signal goes from 0-1 bar all the way up to full and right when i get all warm and fuzy thinking it's all goood it drops to 0-1 again and the battery sucks i'm IN SEATTLE WASINGTON IS THERE ANYONE ELSE HERE THAT CAN GIVE ME A GOOD GAGE ON USEAGE IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST ON MY OTHER TP i'm running 1.03.15F and i must say with no doubt this is the best as far as battery wise i talk text and use the web and it's cool as far as battery life but it to has 1-2 bars inside my house where when i first got both TP's they were full bars always in EVO same spot different RADIO CAN ANYONE HELP ME please

no problem bro i was just having a super f*#)**)#)* crysis and i got help from Goku! so i'm good on that but the radio SUCKS IF I'M IN A MAJOR AREA ITS GOOD (LIKE DOWNTOWN SEATTLE WHERE THERE ARE LOTS OF TOWERS but when i hit the ohter parts of the city the signal takes a nose dive so i found this thread i read it all through and now when i hit the links it just trys to load forever but nothing happens can you help as i am stressing bad

FOR EXAMPLE IF I WATCH A ONLINE MOVIE ( PHONE AS MODEM) IT JUST KEEPS BUFFERING BUT IF I USE MY V950 RENEGADE IT BLAST THREW AND NEVER BUFFERS CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TO DO AS I HAVE TRIED 4 RADIOS

Anyways the touch pro (at least in my opinion) seems to get poorer reception than other phones.(my gfs touch at my house seems to connect better to EVDO than my touch pro which bounces from 1X and EVDO)

All you can do is try the different radios and if they dont help, well your out of luck.

im in the N. Texas area... tried with allmost every newer radios... verizon .03.09 was the closest to sprint's V1.11...

well i finally hit pay dirt and i hope it holds up as i have been having the radio BLUES
i flashed to the verizon wireless 1.03.09V and right away i see the difference as now
on the low end i have two solid bars but on the high end it's full bars i did a few speed test as i am running the sprint 1.00.4 on my other TP and this VZW one is killing it also my battery has been holding really good and ive been on the phone and texting all day long and doing test like DASH did on when he lined up the PALM PRE NEXT to the TOUCH PRO so i did and i tested it
how fast they load the sights the verizon is faster and i hope i'm finally home anyway thanks to all you guys here at Wckediden for the help also bug ups to DASH! for the MOD and GOKU! for the latenight MSL UNLOCKING HELP

i unlocked my phone which was very easy. tried to install sprint raphael radio v1.11.00f it give me a error code of 244 invalid model id.

i currently have the sprint raphael radio v1.03.15f its what came with my phone any suggestion and is there any better radios than the sprint radios.

i tried to install it from the bootloader and active sync both didnt work

I remember getting that error code when I unlocked my phone with the wrong unlocker, so make sure you are using the right unlocker and then flash to the radio of your choice, you shouldn't have any problems after that.

i used the Touch Pro (Raphael) HSPL Unlocker .37 to unlock my phone it said it worked even when i check it with the bootloader it says unlocked.

mmmmm what type of file is it that you are flashing is it an exe or is it the RUU. if it is the RUU are you sure that you are using that RUU only for the nbh file correct?
