Turning on T9 Predicitve Text and Dictionary

Hi all,

I write a number of formal text messages and need the language to be proper and grammatically correct. I would like my TP to have the predictive text, word suggestions and auto correct on permanently. Unfortunately by default these options are disabled. I am able to get these options by turning them on but the only stay on while the text message window is open. Once I have sent the message, the default settings take over.

What I have tried:
Turning on all the options under settings > input > word completion and T9 settings
Changes the setting from ABC to T9 on the onscreen keyboard (automatically goes back to ABC)
Tried different keyboards eg : letter recogniser, compact QWERTY etc.

I never had this problem before I flashed so I figure it is something to do with the ROM but hopefully it can be permananetly overturned. FYI I am running EnergyROM Mecury on a GSM model.

go to start/settings/input and on the second tab on the bottom click that and than choose the option for predictive text.

Have already tried that and it has been checked the whole time...?

This may help...Understand through my trials, I believe the registry edits change and foul up the on screen keyboard. It causes it to stay on the symbol and numbers screen. This had been my finding. The experience may be different for others. I currently am using a Touch Pro, with 6.1/stock ROM. Again, this will work, but for the Device keyboard. If it doesn't suit your needs you can always uninstall.

It doesn't seem to do what I was after but thanks for your response.
