[HTC-Diamond] [ ROM ] [ KITCHEN ] JUICY 8 - Build 090830V (23037.5.3.0) [UC]

yes with just checking my email a couple times and heavy texting. and by heavy texting i mean.........well ok today i sent 77 text messages today. and i probably recieved over 90 or so. i have no reason to log on here and make up fake stories about battery power. im for real. if there is a way i can prove it to you guys just let me know and i will. like i said ive literally tried every rom on here for the touch diamond. and this rom is by far the best on battery power. for instance just the other day i downloaded the energyrom warhawk because i say all the good reviews about it on the touch pro. so i got the one for the diamond. it was a great looking rom but battery life was a real deal breaker for me. i drained the battery completely. then fully charged it. i set my phone down for about 35 40 minutes and when i went to check to see if i had any texts my battery power was already down to 89%. and it was just sitting there not doing anything. and it wasnt in data mode either. with juicy 2 nights ago i did the same thing, drained and recharged battery. it sat next to my bed overnight, when i got up i had 2 missed calls and 8 text messages. and my battery power was still at 100% until about noon. i checked my email a few times and used the internet for about 10 minutes or so and been texting all day and my battery is at 70% right now. like i said i have no reason to come on here a lie about this. im not that type of person. i posted to let others know how well my battery life is with this rom

the thing is, i have flashed this to 5 different dianonds and looked through ver 400 pages on the juocy thread fort his at ppcgeeks ansd no one said that they were getting over 16 hours of use and your at 48 hours your saying...... not calling you a liar i just find it hard to believe especially sicne with all those texts battery dsies way faster than that, (i do over 400 total a day) the stats barely give it 2 days on standby also....... but thanks for sharing what you foundand wasnt trying to disrespect and call you a liar just seems odd thart you the only one out of 10,000 plus downloads. but glad that you are getting the good battery life and whatever you are doing if you get that long yu did right... did you make any aditional registry changes?

2 Days of battery use you would get if you let your phone sit and never used it lol. That is a maybe at best. If you did get 48 hours I sure everyone would love to know your Reg edits ?

hahahah i sure as hell would love to know thoose registry edits and you will be forever a god if you can get that to work on htc deivces consistantly with that hack...

Lol i got GSS rom up too 18 to 20 hours. Meaning some how would have to double that. If i did that or anyone they really would be God LIke. 48 hour battery PPC phone what a dream haha

the only things that i did was change the pollinterval to 1200, and i use the glight program to control my light sensor properties. if you wanna know the values that i have for each level let me know and i'll post them on here. also whenever i use any type of data connection. as soon as im done with the data connection......like email, or internet or if i update my weather. i turn off my data connection. also i dont have my weather updating automatically. i do manual update. same thing with quick gps and any other program that requires a data connection. cuz sometimes a program will update by itself.........and u dont get to your phone for a hour or so and it drains the batter without you knowing. also im not sure if the radio has anything to do with battery life. but i flashed the telus radio 1.04.05v.

Well dash she txts at least 200-300 messages a day she plays with her phone all day .And like goku said earlier in a post the only way u can get that kinda battery is if u leave ur phone lying around .

radio does have an effect becasue the lower signal you have the more your phone is searching for closer towers. so above 3 or above it will stop constantly scanning for a new tower... the radio controls your signal so better radio = better signal = better battery life (thats ppc math for you)

so can anyone help me on getting youtube to work on this rom??? everytime i click on a video it just says cannnot play video. ive tried searching on this site but i havent found anything that will help me. is there a way to just download the youtube cab and reinstall it to make it work?

I just recent;y tried this ROM... 6.5 is amazing but other than that i found this ROM real buggy t some aspects hopefully this version of 6.5 gets more stable as the official one is released :P

try some different ones, i have ran many 6.5 roms in the past without any troubles or bugs.... try different roms out since all are made differently and all perform differently.

Finally Yes, got the mms working but still in this rom a little shakey in sum areas, i sent a pic no problem but when i go to pic or vid recording the device freezes up and then the keyboard pops up. also while pic messaging, keyboard freezes for about 3-5 secs. but gonna run this all day see how it works out. also one more thing in the top task bar whr i am supposed to have a speaker icon, it looks like a blurry little tv u know all snowy, wuwt (what up with that) mite run this half a day i know i said all day but cant do it so there it is with these little bugs.
