Windows Mobile 7 announcement in March 2010


March 2010 is when Microsoft will announce their plans for Windows Mobile 7. This date has been confirmed by Microsoft Office Vice President Kurt Delbene as he told Neowin.com. This correlates with our earlier post that WM 7 will be RTM in March 2010. Also, in light of Microsoft using the Office Mobile 7 Mock Up on their website, this shows that nothing can stay leak free forever.

I never thought I'd be so tempted away from WinMo, but... yeah. Seriously... March? Is there any reason to think 7 will be better than Android?

it will be extremely beta in my opinion... first major change in how many years? gonna be good but have its fair share of bugs i would think.... im loving android and having a hard time putting my droid eris aside and going to my tp2

i like how htc has taken it upon themselves to come up with their own finger friendly ui instead of waiting for microsoft. just like with tf3d, sense is going to set their devices apart from other android phones. i read on the htc site that the new phone with the snapdragon proc. will come with a windows phone with sense. i guess all the phone junkies will be running back over to windows for the release of that one, especially if it's running a ui that's similiar to the android phone you're using now (eris, hero). i know a few people with the moto droid and what trumps other phones is the speed, probably because of the bigger proc. notice how htc picked a windows device for their new proc. windows isn't going anywhere.

yeah htc is doing a great job with that but i dont see the people running back for that just for the processor... wm needs to step up there game and make the operating system stable and quick over anything else to win the customers back.... until they do that and also keep up with the comepetition wm will continue to go down the drains and become more obsolete in the mobile world...
