I need to relock then for that... But either way I will give something a shot.. I am just gonna email them.. Or talk to them tomorrow on the phone because somehow they F'ed up my bill! Guys and Girl, I am soooo excited. I just spoke to customer retentions and they are like we can give you the touch pro for 99.00 and you can keep the mogul. I was like F yeah! So I renewed my contract and they are giving me a credit for 1 month of service (116.00 for 4 lines) and another 50 credit! When the phone arrives I am going to try to do all the mail in rebates on top of that to see if they slip through the cracks. Worst case scenario, I get the phone for a 67.00 credit plus whatever I sell the mogul for! SWEEEEEET! The crazy part was that it only took 2 minutes. It really does depend on who you talk to. I did try to get a good deal on trading in my fiancees touch for a diamond and she laughed at me and told me to call back in a couple of months. Thanks for the motivating words everyone, the first time I tried they would not budge and told me that I can cancel if I wanted.

Indeed it does.. I got my Touch for only $30 because Sprint sent me a bunch of Q9C's with the dust under the screen problem.. Anyways I ended up getting a free Touch :)

I have a lot of issues with mine and explained them all and told her how agrivated this phone was making me and I just wanted a different phone since it was only 5 months old. Long story short they are sending me a refurb mogul, ARG! Oh well if the that mogul turns out to be a dud too I will have to try again. Atleast they are swapping (shipping/exchange) it for free since there are no repair centers near me.

Yes they are lucky!... I havent gotten one.. First I really like my Touch and how small it is.. Second.. I dont think they will do it.. My phone works perfectly.. So for the people who got a swap.. Congratz to you guys :wink:

I would say to call in again after you get the new Mogul and tell them you are having the same issues and you want them to replace it with the TP... I mean unless you like the Mogul in which case you can buy my old one. :laughing7: :jk:

they dont look for defects.... they dont have the time or the man power to do so... they just make sure that the phone is returned to them in fair order and that it at least turns on.

Well, i got my replacement mogul yesterday (that was fast, 2 days) and the keyboard is tight on this one. The usb seems to be working also....but a couple of the keys on the keyboard don't work, such as the blue dot key, the W key, Q key, the down arrow.....man is this normal? ;-)

Time to call them again after a few days because I have to send back my sloppy loose mogul first.

There are lots of other things I was going to say (i.e. loyal customer, 4 - soon 5 phones on my plan, etc.) but I really ended up not needing to. At the very worst, they may charge you an $18-30 upgrade fee. Be creative. Good luck.

(Oh, and be nice to them, it helps.)

DAMN I just did this and talked on the phone for an hour with everybody....finally to an account manager and she tells me that the pro is setup for a simply everything plan and that I wouldn't be able to keep my plan.....which is amazing ($25 for 4000 min and unlm everything) and would have to pay at least $65 a month. So I guess I will just have to deal with the mogul because I don't think in this case the pro is worth it

Yea, I think they are cracking down on the swapping or something. I couldn't get them to budge for me either. Doesn't mean I'm going to stop being a pain in the ass until i get my way though :wink:

So I am DYING to get the PRO. I have the Crappy instinct right now. I have even been saving my money as much as I can here and there, I got about a 120$ so far. I am curious since I have not had the instinct very long, And I am not under contract, but in all honesty my instict has been acting up. So do I just call customer service and say this is a crappy phone, list some things that are going wrong, and don't take no for an answer and have them send me a pro, because I don't want to extend my contract. Then just send my instinct back? Help on just and Idea, or maybe at least the right direction I need to go with them when I call.

I am having the same exact issues with my Mogul, I have to use my Desktop cradle in order to use activsync, my screen freezes up I soft reset multiple times a day, I am Grandfathers in with the SERO $30 plan with 3 lines, however I am also not eligible for an upgrade on my main account until March of 2010, so this may be my ticket

please read the past couple pages i have said countless times that they arent going to be doing any other upgrades only fair swaps since the privelage was being abused by many and they were loosing more money on the phones than they would if they let the customers complaining go.....

Oh my apologies I posted prematurely, well I exchange it for a new Mogul & part with it & my accessories via Ebay & use the profits & pay the remaining balance of the $579
