if you're in bootloader just check if it says "USB" in the white portion of the screen at the bottom. if it does then you are okay to flash, just run the RUU in the correct way that is stated in the first post

I am trying to flash a rom for the first time for my 6800. I have done some research and found that neuROM 2.0 5060 might work best for me. From my understanding it supports gps/rev a. so ive looked at the bottom of the post "GPS/REV A STUFF" and saw that i need to unlock using imcokemans 2.31 unlocker for gps, but im having a hard time finding the program.

can anyone help me out?

also, im looking for a simple wm 6.1 rev a with gps. if anyone have better suggestions other than the neuROM 5060 please let me know.

Hi I just got the PPC 6800 touch for us cellular and having trouble finding apps and such. My question is does this site have a specific place just for us cellular people. I search for this stuff but everything is so scattered I do not know what app or program go to what service provider.

most apps will work with your phone. I suggest looking for ( SEARCH ) DASH's TOUCH WIth LINKS, Thats the title. So a Search for "Dash Touch or Touch" You said 6800 touch? Did you mean 6900?

no mine is a HTC PPC 6800 touch screen form us cellular, anyway don't I need to flash and make sure the roms are compatible with my service provider?

bro for the mogul aka 6800 all WM6 apps will work ity is a mogul running WM6 or WM 6.1 so they wil all work they arent for certain phones (unless on rare occasion) they say WM6 they will work..... and all the roms for the mogul aka titan aka 6800 will work once you unlcok!!!!! jsut read the first post of the thread for the tutorial..... thats what the unlocker does.

I have seen all about flashing rom what about the radio how do you update the radio? drag the nbh over to ruu as well or is it different

you need to flash per say to the 3.35 official rom than a custom or the leaked rom and than a custom.... the official will get you the radio and than flash to the custom and it will stick.

im trying to update my radio for the Kaos f sprint take 3 as in his post he said that radio didnt stick so you need to update it. I also seen where he suggested you flash radio then rom. You know me read read read then ask lol thats why i asked ya know i am stuck. thanks as always D/\sh

well look at what radio you are supposed to have off of the leaked officail rom flash to that and than flash to take 3 and you will be golden.

right the whole format a card and put phone in bootloader and it will do it. I seen that one when i dl the radio version lol. just wondering if there was another easy way as i dont have an extra card or card reader to do it. so guess its the long way for me huh? lol

Ok Ok so i used my current sd card formatted dropped file booted loaded new radio installed. Reformatted and reloaded sd card and put everything back. And as a wise man once said i am now "GOLDEN"

ummmm than how do you turn the phone on from waking it up????? the only other way to do it is just flash normally and you should be golden.

my phone never goes to sleep hehe, what im doing is the steps for Vista users which involves having the rom put into a micro SD and then going to the bootloader screen. By saying "Flash Normaly", do you mean just to run the rom from my pc like some programs??

just outta curiosity cause i know this has been talked but if you relock an alltel 6800 after using a 6.1 with gps will it brick seeing as how your going from gps to no gps?

i have been trying to do this but have been getting a communications error during the rom update utility ver. 3.16.4.2 and then it goes into recovery mode, but i never need to recover because the phone boots fine. it does bring up the percentage bar on both the pc and the phone, what could be the problem?
