this site give you .CAB file that is an easy way to incorporate the side sound without all PHM REGEDIT stuff.

still pretty new don't know how to post the actual cab file.

ive used it many times without problems,,,,, make sure you use really short clips like round 2 seconds or so...... i have never had it crash on me...... and make sure you disable the stock sliding sounds from the phone by going to start/settings/personal/sliding sounds/ and than uncheck the sounds box.

using the mario sounds, i just soft reset the phone, ill see if that helps

edit- opens plays my 1 second sound, closes plays sound then bam, this program has caused an unexpected error quit and restart or hit details.

I hit details and get SlideSoundService.exe win32exception

ok make sure that you have the play sounds and run service on startup checked and not the other one and see what that does for you.
