Re: Audio Manager
depends which one you downloaded; if you downloaded the cab file then you just drag to your device and click the cab file on your device. If you downloaded the zip/rar one then you extract all the files to the windows directory on your phone.

Re: Audio Manager
okay this doesnt have to do with this exact issue, but i am having a problem with audio manager, i just didnt wanna start a new thread after seeing so many from doing a search. (havnt seen this problem yet)
okay - i have my HTC Vogue with a 4GB microSD card. if you saw my post about editing the ID3v2, then you know i had to take all my songs off edit the info on my PC and put them back onto the touch. while i was doing this, i added a lot ( i meen almost 100 more songs) lol... now when i go to Audio manager, either from the cube link i have mapped or going directly to the folder and open it. i go to All Songs and it will list everything find, takes a minute to do the search and all but normal process. when i go to click on a song it will actually freeze up for about 10 seconds. after about 10 seconds, it goes to the Player part of the app but there is no song info and it will not play. now we come to the strange part: when i go back and go to Artists, Albums, Genres.. or whatever else is listed and choose a song from any of tho's. it works flawlessly. although, once i try to play a song from the All Songs area, then go back to the other Albums or anything. the song will start to play and i get an error - "The titles associated with the playlist no longer exist" i have tried a couple different versions and all the same thing. i guess i dont mind going to the artist section, but when i just want to play shuffle from my entire song list im not able to... anyway, hopefully someone can help me out. thnx! Re: Audio Manager
my issue has been solved
HOW I FIXED IT: (in case any one else has the same problem) i figured it was probly a broken file somwheer in the list. and it was. actually, an entire album. what i did was went through my album lists and played each song manually, then next track and so on. and i stumbled apon a foo fighters album that was the issue (maybe it was tagged incorrectly or sumthin) but i removed the album, shut the HTC audio manager. re-opened, and let it scan, i can now play my other songs from the All Songs list. so when you add music, make sure to test the song out to see if it causes any problems with the app. anyway, hope this will help someone in the future and im happy i was able to find such a quick fix! |
