I just saw a story on this service in the newspaper. You just dial "DIR-ECT-IONS" (347-328-4667), say where you are and where you want to go, and it sends back a text message of Mapquest directions. There's no registration or fees other than your cell phone and text messaging fees.

Here's their website: http://www.dialdirections.com/default.html Contrary to what the videos on the site say, according to the FAQ page, it now works in every state.
