Default Clock Jumping Ahead!

My clock on my touch keeps jumping an hour ahead. I have tried both soft and hard resets to no avail. I have updated all of my computers with the new daylight savings time update and that didn't help. I even installed a third party time sync program to my touch and that didn't help either. I tried setting it to a time zone an hour behind but when it decides to pull the correct time, then it's an hour behind. I was hoping someone else ran into this issue and has a fix for it.

i havent heard of this happening before but make sure you are using the right time zone like kaos and all if that doesnt work got to htcamerica.com and redownload the rom for your phone and see what that does for you. if that doesnt fix it go to sprint show them the problem and they might conclude that it is a hardware problem and give you a new phone.

I'm sure I did a hard reset, I had to reload everything that I didn't have sync'd. As my username indicates, I'm from Kansas so I am using GMT-6 Central US. I haven't seen anything on my phone that would allow me to enable daylight savings time, but it is enabled on all of my PC's. Thanks for the feedback. I would really hate to start over with a new phone and reload all of my apps., but I might just have to.

Default Re: Clock Jumping Ahead!

I have spent a couple of hours on the site trying to find a solution to my problems. Something I have downloaded (list below) keeps resetting my system clock to Pacific time!

HISTORY:
Two weeks I loaded REV A Rom for the Sprint Touch, then downloaded IGo8. The Rom process proceeded fine, but conflicted with my internet access through Sprint -- so the experience was a bust! I re-flashed the stock ROM. In reading the iGO8 thread there was a discussion of the application resetting the system clock, but the fix through PPCGeeks was specific to the application. No help there!!!!

Applications in Program File (other than the standards):
1. Activesync2. Autolog3. Call Block4. Cash Organizer5. iContacts6. FTouchSL7. MagiCall8. Opera Browser9. OpMon10. PDA Cookbook11. Pocket Drink Mixer12. Rezco Pocket Mechanic13. Rezco Pocket Explorer14. Threaded SMS Other Programs: 15. MobiTV et. al16. Google Maps17. Pocket Sports Center18. Webster's Dictionary

I know most of these are not related, but I thought I'd give you the full list. I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks, Trouble

its prolly either the call block or the magicall since both apps do the same process and that can be confusing the phone a bit

After re-flashing the ROM and loading then testing each program for the problem I discovered that CodeCityAlarms was the culprit. I'm not sure if this is because the app is for WM5 and I have WM6 or if it's conflicting with another application. Too bad because the program had nice potential!!

Thanks anyway,

Trouble

i've had similar issues to the ones described here. i'm in the eastern timezone. when i'm at work my touch likes to go into roaming mode a lot. i noticed last fall on the day of the time change (to standard time) that my clock would jump ahead 1 hour when i was at work. it happened nearly every day, and nearly every time i was at work when it happened. i didn't think it was any big deal though because i don't use the alarm or anything and there's clocks everywhere all the time anyway. a soft reset always took care of it. i did notice, however, after the time changed back a few weeks ago that as soon as we were back on daylight savings time it stopped happening.

like i said, it's not a big deal to me, so solving this issue is not really important. i just thought i'd share my similar experience here.
