I have not used a backup program yet. I haven't done any mods yet. Before I do I want to have a backup in case I need to reload original software. Do you like this one? Or is there another you find to be better?

yaeh this one is great but you dont need to do a backup if you havent installed anything cause at that point you should just do a hard reset ...backups are good if you have to go back to a a state at which you have done alot that it would be a pain to do it all over again...hope this helps let me know...

i'm a total newb. I'm just looking for a safety net to come back to after I screw up my phone. I think I am going to TRY D/\ash's spinning cube mod. Also do some of the programs he has on his phone(from the list on that post). Hope I don't screw it up too bad.

Also every once in a while I see keygen mentioned but can't find it doing a search. Where do I get this. It sounds like i'll need it.

yup this will work for you than on the safety net. keygens are included in the zip files or there will be a serial in a readme file of every post that isnt freeware or pre-cracked
