files cant open error messgaes occur when i download them. hey dash i know you going to say look for it its been discussed b4 but download a few things no and they havent worked so insted of buggin you i just moved on and tried to do another file/app, im getting a message that say cannot be opend either not sighned on with a trusted certification or coponnents canot be found........... for instance limewire pro 4.17.3. its a rar file... whent to link provided type in the 4 digit acces code downloaed it to desk top moved into stroage card...... i look at the noob guide a few times couldn't find it. i can do cab file no problem... whish it was all that easy. can you help me? shit better refrase that will you help me, i dont think you cant do anything on a phone...

what kind of files are you trying to install on your ppc.

are you trying to install limewire on to your phone. i assume your touch since you have that listed?

yes sir, sprint touch if it matters or any different from htc touch

well im not sure on the other programs you are trying to install and use on your touch but i know for an fact that you wont get limewire to work on your touch. limewire is an PC program and you have an ppc. as of my knowledge there is no program like limewire for your phone that allows you to download music straight to your phone. except for like sprint music store which of course you have to pay for those songs. so there is no way around it. your best option is to install the program limewire on your computer (which is what its meant for) than download whatever you please. whatever music you please and transfer the song files over to your phone like on your storage card. thats the only way really you are going to get free downloaded music on your phone. since you cannot download music off the net through your phone with any program besides like sprint music store.

ya i thought it was too good to be true but i thought thats what some one wrote or atlest that the way i took it thanks man i alredy have it on my comp. but i do need a few question to be ansewred if you have time... i dont know how to down load any thing besied cab files. lol. exe fille and a rar file is what and how might i go about down loading them to me phone. after i click a link down load, save as, put on my desk top, transfer to device or memory card, using widows device cause i have vista. do i just tranfer them over thier still just as i would a cab file on the main page of the device or memory card. then go to my file explorer on the ppc and click the name or is thier more too it. then i take it them messages that i go just means my phone wont support it right.

lol thats classic limewire on phone im sorry i had to..... but yeah bro that was the pc tolls section which means they go on your pc.

please look at the noob guide it might help you.
1. for rar files you need to use winrar to extract the cab files and than do the saem as usual.
2. exe files are easy hook phone up to activesync than double click and you will be golden. just follow the steps.

thanks dash sound like this whole thing is getting easier but when i down load the winrar every thing goes and looks like a book case thing, but that probably normal so then just right click on the next thing i want to download and hit extract and load every thing as a cab file then right? and one more thing what a png and how to load it? trying to change my start up screen. and ill be a full member in one week wed is payday. ohhh thanks for the limewire post FU#$ER .lol

1. thats normal to look like books its supposed to.
2. only cab files correct you can also double click on the books also its what i do makes it easier to find and all just look for .cab or .exe for the files....
3. png is an image type and search through the mogul area of the help desk and it is sticked on how to change the files on your phone for startup.
4. and no problem on the limewire buddy lol
