i have a quick question

i have this annoying problem that i hope can be fixed on the htc touch. sometimes when im in the middle of a call i want to be able to still mess with apps or games on the phone but everytime the weather updates automatically on the phone the call drops so i have to wait until the weather is done updating so i can call someone back. i know that i can set the weather settings to update manually though. is it just me or does it happen to other touch owners?

you have stumped me, i will look around to find an answer for you for this.

thanks leedenault, if you cant find anything its ok. its just one of those little annoying things that happens lol. ill just uncheck the automatic weather update.

by the way is it possible to set a .gif image as a background on the touch?

yes it is possible, but im not sure how to do it because here and Wckediden we dont like to make the phone drastically slower lol

i sometimes use a gif. image as my S2U2 theme though.

by getting a .gif image you like form the internet...resizing the image to 240-320(potriat view) or 320-240 Ladcsape veiw..

name the file wallpaper for portrait view....and wallpaperL for lanscape view.

through active synx go to programs/s2u2/gfx ( i tihnk its gfx)....delete the wallpaper.jpg / wallpaperl.jpg

replace

soft reset, enjoy

but if its just for your homescreen you want, do a search on google, because we dont have any animated themes here.

I can't say that I have had this problem before, but I also don't run automatic updates on the weather...I will give it a try and see if it happens on my device also and get back to you on it man...

Hey no problem...So far I haven't had any problems with running the auto weather update, but I haven't really made that many calls either, mainly been just texting....But tmw will be the first real day I will be able to tell, cause while Im at work Im on the phone often..So I will get some more info for you in the next couple days.

So I have been running the auto weather updates for a couple days now, and I haven't seen any problems with dropping calls? Im running MobileShell2.0 now also, and have it setup to run the auto weather updates(Although at times it seems like it not working) and still there is no problems...

Sorry that your having these problems....Now that you haven't had your auto weather on have you still been dropping the calls, or whats your status with it turned off?
