Default RevA settings page on Verizon VX6900

Hi guys,

Please only answer if you have or know of someone who has actually been able to use their msl number to get into the verizon RevA enable / disable settings page.

1) I do not know how to get to this area where I can enter my MSL # (which I got using the GetSpc program)
2) I did enter ##778 to enter the EPST settings page which I normally would enter 000000 as the password....when I tried my MSL # as the password it just gives me an invalid password error, but I dont even know if this is the page where I need to enter my MSL #

I was only able to get my MSL # using the GetSpc program because after 3 tries with verizon tech support even the high level tiers...they would not give it to me claiming the MSL can be used to switch handsets to different providers which is against their rules because they provide handsets at discounted prices so people dont switch.

Anyone would experience in this..your help is appreciated

Dude! Do you read what your writing???

I told you multiple times I have entered ##778 which brings me to the EPST settings page asking for either (view or edit) then if i enter 000000 I get to a whole menu of settings...if I enter my MSL code I get an error that the code is incorrect?

What do you not understand about the above??

Again i'll explain that I have called verizon 4 times now asking for the same thing...and even threatening to cancel if they dont give me the instructions / code...and they keep a record of when I call in so the guy before knows...they keep saying they dont have it or dont know how and that I need to call the manufacturer. If I had the contract and I could quote to them where it says they are required to give me the details I would...but I dont have the contract. Even when I said its illegal and they have to give it to me...the guy put me on hold and came back with the same answer.

I can't play around with a PDA worth squat...but please dont threaten me about banning etc etc...Its possible for people to have 100s of computers / 1000s of ips and names so no reason to go there...

I'm just asking questions and when I tell you I cant get the info from them...trust me they arent giving it to me...but like I said before what we do have right now is an MSL i got from GETSPC and thats about it...Verizon tech support is not helping so got to look for other options on how to get to those settings.

ok thats all you had to say you didnt have to get mouth with me and bro thereis ways to ban you and ahve it so you dont come back we can see when people under any username makes a new one automatically so dont try that and we will drop it but domnt ever talk to me that way again when all i did was help you and its not my fault they wont give it to you weven though they do have it sprint gives it up right away also and they do have it since they use the same number when you call to activate ytour phone.

I am only getting around 500-600 kwckeds download which is same or less that what I was getting before upgrade.

I dont see anything related to RevA in the settings page when entering 000000

Well I tried again...none of the CS reps have any idea what that stands for. I told the activations CS rep to check into my account where the ESN number comes up and she didnt see anything. She put my on hold and came back with the MSL number as 000000

Yea I dont know...usually they are pretty helpful..gave me a new phone :smile_mini2: but im more surprised that nobody else has had this problem. Its my understanding that after installing the ROM those settings should just be enabled right...I should njot have to go in there and change anything correct?

If so..why am I getting the same download speeds which are much lower than all you guys...I keep getting between 500-600 and it seems everyone else gets like 1500 +

GPS is working...so thats good...

Is there anyway to check if RevA is on without going into those settings?

Speed tests are about the same as before (500-600 kbps)...I was thinking it was going to jump to 1500+ like people are posting
