I highly recommend using JIVETALK instant messenger application. I used on my blackberry 8830 and I am now using on my Mogul. It's in the beta stages, but it is by far the best IM client for ppc that I've seen. Google Jivetalk and it should take you there!

thanks for the info alot of people here like to use palringo since its voice im and for ppc and computer. but ya there was another program that was just like this for desktop that let you sign into all of them even icq i forgot wat it was called. but you could of found it like on download.com
