Overview: UPX4PPC is an application for you to compress & optimize EXE/DLL files. Programs that are compressed using UPX do not need UPX to be present in order to run. The decompressor is placed on the front of the file, so an additional unpacker is not required when running the compressed programs

NOTES:
- UPX only works with ARM executables (not deprecated MIPS or SH3)
- The following applications DO NOT work well with UPX:
* SKTools, and all SK Software programs (maybe freeware programs do)
* Pocket Mechanic
* Swcked Backup 2.x (you can compress all exe & dll files, except SwckedBackupRestore.exe)
PLEASE REPORT IN THIS THREAD ANY OTHER PROGRAM NOT WORKING WITH UPX.
- I'd suggest to compress your files on your PC (you can compress to higher ratios, as you dispose of more memory; get a version for your PC at upx.sourceforge.net). Except for the above mentioned, you can compress
* all .exe files, with "upx -9 filename.exe"
* all .dll files can be safely compressed with "upx -9 --compress-exports=0 --compress-icons=0 --compress-resources=0 --strip-relocs=0 --all-methods --all-filters filename.dll"
