yes flash it over seems to be the official release im kind of confused why these arent on the htc website for this or the mogul yet.... it may just be that dcd is making them.... im not really sure to tell the truth. if it is the official rom you will be able to flash right over either way though...

in ppcgeeks and xda they have no doubt that its the official and needs not to be unlocked to flash, its the official trust me guys

they say that startup is similar to instinct's, gps locks in a heartbeat, anh htc home now uses some bad ass red icons :brows:

yeah, Dash is right, if they are official, you would be able to just get them on the phone normally with no need for spl unlocker and etc...but I don't trust that DCD when they say official. The term official is used losely by them alot, lol...

ok i called my boy and this is just like the mogul one it is the real deal dcd jsut got his hands on it early...... all the numbers match up so good to go guys!!!

I'm not even getting an error code - it keeps telling me I have updated it when it hasn't. I'm wondering if some files need to be renamed and everyone else knows about it but I don't. I noticed it says updating to image 0.0.0.0 on mine during the update process and I think the image file should read 3.5.0.0

i cant get this rom update to work, when it starts my active sync connection drops and it says it cannot complete the upgrade. whats going on here ? am i doing something wrong ?

i decide to take it for the team lol i will keep you guys posted in a second
so far it installed fine no errors at all took about 10 minutes
1 got a new animation when it starts up .
2 splash screen is the oringinal green with 6.1 on it
3 gives u a quick download pop up ..customization in 3 seconds
4 starts to install differnt caps, exe . it seems
5 then it reboots.

6 looks like stock
7 just sprint nav on it now, click on it doesnt do anything .I will install nav in a few minutes
8 went strait to live search took about 1 minute gps on ! ! woo wee
runnin smooth .. i will be back let me play around with it some more ect..

flashed my rom earlier yesterday and bombed on me around 7:30 pm

i am so lovng this rom, the battery is awesome, the startup is better then any rom for th touch out there, it comes with OZ IM pre installed for IMing like on the sidekicks, on the htc sprin plugin they added sprint nav and took out search, comes installed wih opera, live search, Rev A is truly notice able now, i get gps lock in less then a second, broski recommended

best rom out there right now people, this rom is stable, battery is wonderful, gps locks in a second, My service in basement is actually better, i get 3 bars to 1 and before i used to get 2 bars to none, Im just waiting on OMJ to cook from this rom so he can remove all the junk that sprint likes to add. some things people are sayin is that it switches from 1x to evdo contantly and i dont know why, I am not getting this error at all, and havent found any issues with this.

instructions from ppcgeeks for faster startup:
Open resco explorer or any file explorer app u got and go into windows/startup and delete all the crap thats in there that we dont use or gona need, believe me u wont notice anything and will help in faster startup.

new thing from sprint lol they included it into their roms b/c its the closes they could get to browsers like skyfire, safari and stuff like that.

well it's recommended to hard reset post flash anyways so i dont think many people will miss that lol

well i just flashed to it and it seems to be working great...and yes the gps lock is very fast, i think faster than the leaked from earlier.....plus i like the new sprint screen....

a few registry tweaks and more stable thats why i like the omj rom better......

i have not tryed any of the custom roms so i wouldnt which one is better...but i have been using the official rom for about a week and 1/2 and have not had any problems with it

i would go with custom, official roms sometimes are buggy and the custom roms main puropse is to fix the problems in the official and add new goodies, so you cant go wrong with that

OMJ for sure if you use this one
