just wondering if somebody can tell me how i am to tweak to get my mail/icon to read my hotmail account
this is what is showing right now.

this is what i did to get mine working, i mapped the icon to windows live, changed the account to hotmail, reloaded throttle, and pushed to recieve emails from windows live, and they appeared in the today screen

i forgot to mention to map the icon to windows live, maybe thats the problem

what if your using yahoo and not hotmail what would you link it to then because thats what i'm using? I get my mail it doesn't show like his did.

im gonna try to set up my yahoo account to give you a clear answer but i believe that you map the icon to the [messaging.lnk] and the account name to (yahoo) or (yahoo!) im not 100% sure yet

I just updated my ROM to 6.1 and now I am running throttle launcher, seems to be working well except I cannot map my mail to gmail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

did you replace activesync to gmail or yahoo in your account name in throttle settings????

yes, replaced active sync with gmail:

autounload unchecked

icon action
:page

icon params
Mail

Mail account
gmail


I tried to change the icon paramaters to the setting that you gave a few replies ago, however no success.

Here is what to do to get it to work.

I go to mail2web.com

I register with them and retrieve a @mail2web email address.

Then I go login and and associate ALL the email address I WANT TO SEE in Throttle launcher.

For example. Login to mail2 web. associate the emails addresss from the mail2web website. So @yahoo, @msn, @aol, etc. etc. will be associated with my ORIGINAL mail2web address.

The go to activesync from the ppc. Go to Add server source or add server and type in you email@mail2web.com. Then password. leave the domain blank. make sure you use the complete @mail2web when asking for your username or email.!!! EXAMPLE: mynamehere@mail2web.com

Then Server address. is

mobile.exchange.mail2web.com


DONE! PRESS THE THANKS BUTTON!
