tcpmp help!!

ive been too bussy to ask for your help and now i have time to write that ive had a problem with the tcpmp program. it used to work fine all the time but like a month ago i tryed to watch a youtube video and when the tcpmp tryed to open it said
"Unexpected program failure. Please send "crash.txt" to the developers. Program will now exit"
and then it closes idk what to do i tryed restarting uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing seems to work

do you have the flash package installed??? or are you using a flash enabled browser like skyfire?

yes i have the flash packet installed. and it wont even let me open tcpmp

try a soft reset... u might have to uninstall/reinstall...

i bet he's runnin official 6.1 rom, because my TCPMP is saying the same damn thing, even after a lil registry tampering it still says it.... all these older programs don't run for shit on the official rom, forcing us to flash our own shit....

I got 6.1 on my Mogul along with the Tcpmp player it works with the fix from xda developers here are is the link where i got mine ** link removed follow the steps in the middle and it should work , i got a movie from here and it showed , now if i can figure out how to make it my default player i'd be good cause WMP is Erking my nerves not working anyway check it out

Not to sure you could make it your default player at least i saw no way how. have to wait for one of the staff to answer on that one. Pretty sure you cant tho. :40:

first, to make tcpmp act as though it's your default player you must have all the avilable plugins for video/picture/sound that your device may ever need to access. Then in the player simply go to the options and go to associations and check mark them all, making tcpmp what player those types of files will use by default when accessed. secondly I guarantee to you that this error on your device is anything but random. it is going to have to deal with either something you installed/uninstalled or changing done to your rom. I know that u said that it was about a month ago but you'll have to think back and try to remember what u did. that's all u can do short of reseting or initializing some pre-error backup program you may use (sprite)
