Abnormal Font Sizes on HTC Diamond

Anyone who knew more about Windows Mobiles and Apple iPhone would clearly say the new HTC Touch Diamond is inspired from Apple' iPhone in many ways. Though HTC has made an impressive leap ahead in may ways on UI, one thing worse is the over-sized Font on Menus. Read more for fix.

If you click on the image here, you'll understand about the Font sizes that we're talking about. It's simply over-sized and dis-proportionate to the rest of the items on the VGA screen looking completely awkward. If you would like to have them look normal without caring about your eye strains, here are the registry tweaks to be made:

HKLM\System\GDI\SYSFNT\Ht (Change from 1000 to 700)
HKLM\System\GWE\Menu\Barfnt\Ht (Change from 1000 to 700)
HKLM\System\GWE\Menu\Popfnt\Ht (Change from 1000 to 700)
HKLM\System\GWE Delete the string "WidgSz"=dword:1"
