Oh, For a Windows Mobile 2003
I'm not looking for anything fancy. In fact, the standard Clocks & Alarms of my IPAQ with WM2003 worked just fine. But with my new XV6900 (Verizon's HTC Touch), they changed the operation, and it won't hack it for me any more. This is all I'm looking for:
#1: A single beep/sound, with no description and no repeat, would do just that with my IPAQ. Beep once, and the screen wouldn't even come on. Now, with WM6, it beeps once, shows the screen, and expects me to Dismiss it. I just want an aleart that it's lunch time, or whatever, and don't want to dismiss anything. And I don't want it to beep again, ever, until the next time it's scheduled to. I can find NO commercial purchased or free alarm that does this. #2: To wake me up, I simply put the WM2003 alarm on Repeat mode, with a message. It popped up, and played the alarm until I either dismissed it, or pressed Snooze. Again, perfect operation. The WM6 alarm, when set the same, beeps only once every 20 seconds. Hell, I can fall asleep in less than 20 seconds! I can pick a really obnoxious sound, but then it startles me. I just want it keep beeping until I stop it, repeating whatever beep I've chosen. All the commercial alarms do this, but I hate to pay for this one feature that was in WM2003's standard operation, and I still don't get #1. I've downloaded and installed 18 alarm programs so far, from free to $25, with very disappointing results. The only ones I left on (which still don't do #1) are Gentimer and Fizz Alarms, and those will expire shortly. Some looked extremely promising, but many just never beep, on-power or not. Simple enough. Anyone have an idea how to accomplish this? |

Well I'm not all that keen on using them illegally I'm a software developer and don't like it when people do that to me I don't mind paying a reasonable price for sometihng that does exactly what I want but none I've tried do

Re: Oh For a Windows Mobile 2003
yeah im a developer also and the thing is that you are aware that people are going to crack your applications that you make its an honor to me when it is because that means it is a good software you still get many people purchasing the application and i even always release a version of my software cracked
