well im also into nitro rc or gas powered rc cars. the first pictures are of the jato which with all the mods and aftermarket parts i put on it goes 75-80 mph at top speed. these suckers are quick and fun as hell!!!notice the wheelie bar is a must otherwise they flip right off of acceleration. the other one without tires or the exhaust is a nitro rustler both made by traxxis. that one i have the parts for but took off of a jump at a skate park and got about 45 feet of air and landed wrong lmao..... so i will have both running soon again... i will post videos of them soon once i get settled in my new place..... but heres some videos to get your mouth wet on what each can do........

oh hell yeah for the size of them they are 1:10 scales and ill tell you what they get up and go sooooooo fast!!!!! gets hard to control sometimes but they are well worth the expensive price tag.

yeah you can get all different types of bodies... i got a clear one ordered and going to do a Wckediden custom body with mogul dude and some other goodies like the Wckediden light skin banner on the hood.

wow it took me back when my friends and i and also the neighbor kids use to race it over by rail road track...if i remember when i paid for mines it was about 500.00 dollars i hustle that money doing paper route and allowance from my parents then...

hahahah hit me up i can get you a great deal for one..... and yes they are still that price for stock without any upgrades like stronger aluminum parts like shocks, shock towers, harder control arms, better servos, etc....

hmm d/\sh me and my dad have done rc for years aswell. atm i own,

traxxas revo 3.3 i bought a few months back and it goes about 50.
traxxas rustler, it goes about 70 (well it did... was chasing cars got under one and well lets say i vered over under the tires....)
and im about to buy the new traxxas brushless car. im still alittle specticle about it though.

but we go way further then cars. we also own
4 boats (2 electric 1 traxxass nitro i believe its the villian i forgot though and a budweiser hydroplane)
2 eflite helicopters (fun as hell in the house or outside.)

and probable the best of them all is our planes which we have 8 in total. our most expensive one being $1,200
haven't really flown them much this year but we got dsome badass setups. whats the killer is we have to insure the planes. our coverage is for up to 1.2 million dollars.

hey diane if its your first time going with remote control ide go with electric now. they are hella fast now with brushless systems. if you are going to get some good ones DO NOT BUY FROM WALMART. lol visit an actual hobby shop. i have always been in favor of traxxas. they are sturdy built and there electrics are all rtr. a brand new one would run you i would say about 300 dollars then charger and batterys. i bought 2 3000 milliamp batters with mine for 30 bucks a piece and an 80 dollar charger when the traxxas rustler first came out in electric. it did 30 but it lasted 6 months until i ran it under a moving car...

Sweeeeeeet!! I don't know too many people into R/Cs!!!!!!!!! I own a jato 3.3, a 2.5r revo with an OS 18tm motor, and my big dawg a 3.3 Revo with an RB 523 motor. I would post the pics but I'll probably screw it up.

yeah our edge 540 has a wingspan of roughly 85 inches which is a little over 5 ft. we have an enclosed trailor that is only for hauling our planes. we use to use a truck with a campershell but we had to up our size lol.

Hey dash, or anybody into RC's what do you think about that brushless rustler with the lipo technology batteries. that thing is supposed to do 70 out of the box!!! It looks foolish. I'm a nitro dude myself and love the attention that bring at a mall parking lot in the evening, but brushless is low maintainence....... got me considering it!!

Also, quick question..... how do you post those big pics, instead of attachments? Sorry don't want to crap here.

im not the biggest fan of electric cars mostly because they all seem to be belt driven and face it the belts dont last too long..... im a nitro guy myself also and think of it this way, you take it to the mall get like 1-15 minutes and your done....... take a nitro and your fuel bottle you get mad runs out of it..... just my thought that i would go with something else... i also just picked up a slayer today and damn i cant wait to bash it. :yahoo:

Da only thing is da 4-Tec sits so low i really don't have anywhere to run it. BTW nice ass truck. I will post some pics of my tec.

nice and yes i love the jato with all the aftermarket parts guarnteed for life of course.... the ****er is strong as hell and well worth it. and yeah the street cars i never really got to in too since they sit so low and i like to bash anywhere i can....

I had a 2.5 4 tec and it would eat the jato up out the hole, but that jato is a beast on that top end.... 2 wheels at 65+. no where to run those unless you go to a track or mall. got rid of it. I had tmaxx's, villian ex boats, revos, jatos, 4 tecs, all of that traxxas stuff. no where to fly a plane so I might try a helicopter next!!:brows:

nice, i just weaned my collection of traxxis trucks to 5 (bought a couple today) i got the jato, rustler, t-maxx, slayer, and the good ole project car of a jato with the 4.6 z-28 motor.

It looks like you have the rpm lower arms on there... a must have. have you thought about the upgrading the tie rods? If so, what would you use. I bust those like crazy and the A arms. Going to up grade next time, because i bought a mess of the stock crap ones and haven't used them up yet since the first wreck:40:

yes these will really do 70+ brushless is more effecient and way faster then traditional motors my old motor wasn't brushless on my old electric rustler but i put a bigger motor on it an dpumped it up to 50 mph only issue was battery life went from 20 minutes to 10 minutes...
