Calling all graphics/theme makers

Well Im lookig for a s2u2 theme based off the samsung omnia today themes for selboriyorker mobile shell skin and the plugins posted by mike20pr aka borikua mods....let me see what a ya come up with....i kno ya got skills

if the schedule slows down anytime soon, I will see what I can do, not gonna promise a lot right now..lol.

not sure if i can do the background BUT i might be able to do the clock tonight in class. i don't plan on listening to professer sooo i might work on it ^_^

yea he does make great themes lol, its no hurry or competition, whoever chooses to make them feel free to do so

yea bro lets see wat u come up with, you can do both clock (digital, and analog)if you like and for the arrow, i dunno maybe something that will match the colors i guess lol

the digital clock is easy its just an arial black font with white border of about 2 pixels wide on border. clock ill have to take and take his screenshot and photoshop the parts.

here is the clock digital version im working on the background and slider right now. can someone test clock for me to see if it looks right? its arial black 33 size font bolded with white border.

also extracted tsk and got the background vert and horizontal for you. now all you need is a slider and your hooked up

heres the analog clock i basically duplicated it. i do not have file format for analog clocks only digital SO you need to extract whast needed and add in if someone wants to volunteer, i have not put all the hands on the clock but have one of each size. you should be able to move the objects around at will. also i have done a slider

that is pretty much my first slider so... but it pretty much matches his theme for the most part now i believe all you need to do is the loader and weather icons which i can't rlly do good so thats up to someone else.

on note on placement place arrows.png and the wallpapers in the gfx folder and then add the clocks folder to the gfx folder and run it ^_^

hope you don't mind but put your arrows on a transparent background and adjusted some height issue for a/m

I don't have the settings for the analog clock so wasn't able to check that out. Will try either later tonight or tomorrow night for sure since I know I will be able to then. ;)

Question--I would like to make a set of notice icons - similar to the design (sticker design) but I am using some transparent icons and do not know what all they are pointing to, could someone tell me the list.
I know there is phone, text, tasks and emails but am missing two - and if someone has the correct order that would be great.

idk about the other s2u2's out there but i use the 1.18 qvga, it has the settings change between jpeg/gif image wallpapers... im not at a pc so if u want it, im sure i have it uner my klone96 diamond s2u2..hope it helps

im almost sure that the arrows could have that background color because i didn't modfy it and if im thinking correctly it reads pink as transparent. dunno i dun't use s2u2 anymore so i couldn't test it. does someone wanna confirm? and on the am and pm buttons thanks i didn't really have anything to go off of so i winged it.

yeah.. i use transparent background but u can also use pink since its a png.im leaving school so i can check it till im at work. what did u use to make the analog clock? i didnt get to check it out that good cuz i was leaving work but did u get the white insides a lil transparent? id say 60-70 op.

ok, gotta make some changes on the notice icons - some are incorrect.
as for the arrow, I was seeing a pink background, hence the reason for the touch of editing.

i actually did it in photoshop and basically its a circle with 70% opacity but the background is green atm which is an easy change to transparency once done. i always use green as background while im editing images and what not it makes everything easier to read aka green screening. but yeah if you extract the png and open in firworks you should be able to manipulate everything. OR if you provide an analog clock folder i can take an ddo it for you guys.

If I don't find them an easier way I might have to see if I can that way. I never had much luck with working with those files. grr.

each one is passworded files/images, and then each one converted (bmp to png) and then into photoshop...

welll... the folder for the clock a aka the analog clock is white images.... sooo lets stick with teh digital. lol. but yeah i major in web design in college so naturally i use fireworks. its also been my first aswell as personal favorite for photo editing. i considermyself fireworks master. not many people use it but its a wanderful program.

BUT a hint to how his theme icons are actually made. its basic icons with no shading BUT a linear fill of lets say purple into blue. or orange into yellow with darke rcolor being at the bottom. then topped off with a white border and a really fine black border around that.

well, sorta and not a link. I am taking the .dat files apart. Each one has to be open with a password, then I am converting them from bmp to png. After that, I am going to see how they look and what I can do with them.

When done I can release them if, right now I don't know how many and I think I am going to mix them a bit with the stickers icons I have been seeing. ;)

Monkey - do you want me to wrap up the clocks images I am finding in there?

naw dian i have the clock made i just can't figure out how i need to break it apart for the actual file system in s2u2.. i think its best to leave it at being digital lol. i think what we need to do now is gather all the files and throw them together into one final zip and realease the puppy MUHAHAH. we will do that once ur dun with the icons ^_^ if you can can you get the weather icons aswell?

actualy working on the analog clock isnt as hard as finding the hands for it, i can resize but if there not sized right itll come out wrong when u use ana.. they have to be done real carfull imma be at work for 3hrs more so if some hands can b posted i can see what i can do... i have the wallpapers/slider/digi clocki need the analog/weather but those can be in a zip a lil later...i been googling and can find ne thing...

yea diane i kno how that is, my little brother(17 yrs old) dormed 2 weeks ago and my mom was a wreck lol even tho he is 20 minutes away....I kinda miss him some not having him crash and come un announced when he wanted to at my place....

The theme is looking really nice so far....and diane ill be waiting for the omnia RLtoday theme to hehehe:brows:

Got the Ultimate Launch Icons done(6 tabs), hopefully all the bugs are out of the rlToday but going to wait a few more hours to see how it update.

I have searched for the font file to do that with but not having any luck finding one. If you find any ttf with that look, drop me the link. I really would like that too. :)

o i didn't realize they were using .tff's i bet we could make one :P but its arial black with white boarder is what the font "should" be. that white boarder might be hard unless we can make the clock work in pngs or jpegs. like s2u2 btw heres the fix for the s2u2 arrow

am using this string: <DigitalClock x="55" y="30" format="h:mm" color="RGB(0,0,0)" alignment="left">

if you know a way to use png files that would be great - I did extract the digits from the mobile package so can convert them if needed. ;)

for this one I am using Tahoma font and of course no clue on how to make fonts. (should add that to my list of things to learn..lol)

to make fonts you need a tff editor and fonts can get pretty intense in making, BUT you need to use arial black font package with the omnia theme.

I am not sure, those are s2u2 weather icons, the ones I extracted were only a small amount compared to what s2u2 uses.
