Hi guys,

This is directly ported from the new HTC Opal/Jade. Works flawlessly and is skinable. Enjoy!

Here is the cab. Just copy it to your phone through activesync and install on your device not the SD card. Make sure all other dialers are removed first.

isnt the opal QVGA??? I dunno but if it is, i hope that probex can use this dialer to skin for his next themes, im diggin the functions. Too bad it dnt make it soon enough to get an alienware skin... :Flush:

yeah it is but i thought with the picture that was what it worked on..... tried to install on my diamond and touch pro but wouldnt so prolly QVGA only :<....... would have gone great with my theme

Im not sure about vga, but I put it on my vogue and it works great. This may be qvga only.

it is qvga only...... wont work on a vga device.

did you soft reset and see if it worked?

u know when u install a dialer it alway ask u 2 reset the phone and it didnt ask

Do you have any other custom dialers installed? If you make sure they are removed first.

did you uninstall all other dialers or dialer skins that you have on your phone.

yea i even did a hard reset and then tried to install on main memory but doesnt work...and advice?

what rom are you running..... jsut may be incompatible with that rom. (most likely if not working your using stock.)

Im running Kaos' latest ROM for the Touch and Ive never had a problem with this dialer or skin...give that a try.

yes its a QVGA phone so it will work... doesnt matter what rom you are running.

different users have different experiences...... and dont have a QVGA device handy to test on right now since both my main devices are VGA

anybody notice that when you use this with manila 2d that the battery meter does not show the accurate reading. it always says it is full but when you go into the settings menu you then see what it really is. Any fix for this??

ok... i installed this cab file and everything was working great..... for the gps fix i had to use that ## thing which does not work with this dialer, so i had to uninstall this dialer and install some other one.... once i was done i uninstalled the other dialer and tried to install this back and it says installation unsuccessful.... and yes i do soft reset after every installations and uninstallations...... so any idea why is it doing that ???

you prolly have a different dialer installed and for this to go over that and be installed you would have to uninstall the current dialer so you are at rom stock

did all that and still it would not work.... but somewhere else on Wckediden i found all these files seperately... there are like 5 or so files that even fixes that ## thing..... i was able to install that tho.... so i am fine.... but i think there is some problem on this cab where even if u completely uninstall the previous dialer and then try to install this one it does not work... it did not work for me....

what rom u running? if your running stock that could be your problem there...At this time i suggest hard resetting, or flashing a custom rom, there are plenty excellent roms that have opal phone canvas and manilla/tf2d incorporated. Just search around.

i do have stock rom..... for some reason it worked when i had the original htc dialer and when i installed it over the original dialer... but then when i have some other dialer but uninstalled fully, it would not install.... so to me looks like it will only install over the original htc dialer.... i mean this file on this thread... i was able to install this same slide to answer and the dialer from some other thread where all these files r separate.....
