AppShare + Installous

Compatible with Iphone/ Itouch firmwares 2.1 and 2.2

Here I will tell you how to get AppShare + Installous (incase anybody hasn't yet got these wonderful apps), these apps work together resulting in you no longer needing to be near a PC to get apps installed on your iPhone.

(Instructions are only for users who have not yet installed any cracked apps before)

First things first you will need a jail broken iPhone, there are plenty of tutorials (Easiest way is to use "QuickPwn", few simple steps and your done). Once jailbroken, carry on here.

First you need to patch your mobile installation file. Until recently this meant manually SSH'ing into your iPhone and manually swapping files, but now there's an easier way.

Go to Cydia - Manage - Sources - Edit - Add and then add this source "http://www.iphone.org.hk/apt/". Once Cydia is finished downloading the source information, search for these files "MobileInstallation Patch", "Erica Utilities" and "UUID Generator". Install these three applications. Now your iPhone can install cracked apps. Just to let your iPhone adjust to the new files, turn your iPhone off and then back on.

Once you iPhone is back on, start up Cydia once again. Follow the same as above and add this source "http://cydia.hackulo.us/". Once cydia if finished search for the files "AppShare" + "Installous". Install these two Apps.

Congratulations, start up your Appshare app and download cracked apps on the move. Also, Installous works as a download manager for Safari, head to any cracked IPA site (http://www.themonkeysball.com/) and hit download, installous will ask if you want to download or install the file.

Just incase the hackulo source is down, or if anybody wants to do things manually I will include the two APP folder here in this thread.

To install these files manually use your favorite SSH program, usually WinSCP, and browse to /Root/Applications. Drag both .App folder into the applications folder.

If your on 2.1 firmware, you will need to delete the cashes folder before the icons will appear on the springboard. To do this browse to /private/var/mobile/Library and either delete the cashes folder or rename it to "cashes.backup" for example. Turn your iPhone off and on and bingo.

I had heard things like that before I even got my iphone...but hey, I tried it and never had an issue...I mean I do have a natural talent when it comes to pretty much everything electronics...but if simply could do it, than anyone can do it...lol...just kidding simply!

y am i the only retard that has a problem wid dis lol. 4 some reason some apps say "cannot be opened". once again, sorry if im de only oddball. maybe i missed someting

well all I can say is read the instructions and follow them to the "T," and you should be fine...but be alittle more specific with your issue as well...were u at least able tom complete all steps and then after that is that when you are having issues or during the process shown in original thread

There was a video that I made over amonth ago when I first placed APPSHARE/INSTALLOUS on my iphone 3g...at the time I thought it was not necessary to post on youtube since there were so many other vids by other people around but it for your convenience and other Wckediden members I just simply found this vid on my pc hard drive and decided to upload this on youtube...it is currently uploading and I will have it within the original posting this thread for you to offer some help...keep in mind that I made this vid when I was still new to the IPHONE 3G as well as APPSHARE/INSTALLOUS!!!

i followed EXACTLY as de tutorial said, and now it says "The Application XXXXXX cannot be opened." I dunno wat I did wrong tho...

the only way that could have happened is if your were not precise during the quickpwn tool when it tells you to press on those buttons in that 5 step process...but just press on your home button and power button at the same time for 60 seconds and your device should turn back on...respond with results

no problem...never fear, cause your boy ICEM/\N is here...if you ran those 5 steps precisely when they switch off you won't have that issue...trust me, I've seen people have that issue before and once I tell them to be more precise with those steps they are successful...so no worries....let me know of your successful results within this thread!!!!!!!!!
