back up network keys before reset

If this is the wrong place to post, I apologize, please move...

Is it possible to backup the network keys on my ATT tilt? I want to download updated ROM and do a hard reset, but I don't want to lose access to my WLAN internet connections where I work. It could take months for tech support to get around to typing in the network key again, and they won't give it out to employees. It's saved on my phone, but it's encrypted so I can't see it. If I back up using Sprite or other software, will it allow me to transfer the network keys back over to my device?

Thanks!!

Yes it is! How would I do that on the tilt? (not very tech savvy)... the password breaker??
Thank you!

update-- are there specific password recovery programs that you must use with the tilt or can any be downloaded?
