Overview: WMWifiRouter instantly turns your wifi enabled Pocket PC into a wireless internet hotspot. Now you can use your laptop and any other device with wifi to get online and surf, email, instant message, and anything else you normally use the internet for!

What do I need?
To use WMWifiRouter you need the following on your mobile device:
- Windows Mobile 5 AKU 3.3 or newer or Windows Mobile 6
- Both a wifi and a cellular data connection
- An installed and working version of Internet Sharing
- 15 MB of free device memory

enjoy guys. this was the last version that didn't require a serial key lol. i never knew we didn't have it until i saw mike20pr and dash looking for it. so enjoy it!

Unfortunately, this doesn't allow one to secure it's assessibility. There are other versions that do...the question is what is it worth to you...?

are you sure that the key still works because even the whole keygen has been blacklisted.

hmmm i swear the last time i used it it had option for u to use wep key. but not sure..think you have to go into your wifi settings and change it

I have the Touch Pro and installed this on my phone; is this all I need or do I need PDA Net (because I remember having the Touch I needed PDA Net so it did not look like I was using the phone as a connection) .... OR just install this program and I can use the phone pretty much as a wireless router to allow my laptop to have internet?

pdanet only powers your computer that it is connected too to the internet. this will allow you to power that one as well as any other computer with wifi :>

i downloaded this appl, but i cant seem to get a connection. when i start it up it says ''connected, wlan is on, waiting for ics...'' soon after that it disconnects and it stays in ''waiting for connection''. can anyone help me as to what i should do. i have a mogul. thanks in advance.

do you have it plugged in via usb and your wifi switch on?

no dash I didn't have the usb cord plugged in or thewifi switch turned on. I tought that once I ran the program using the sprint evo network my laptop would automatically pick up connection. I will do as you said and let you know how it works for me. thanks dash!

just wanted to say that ive had NO problems at all with this thingy..its been working great since day one. only thing is it drains my battery pretty fast..but the app its self is awesome. :)

if you plug it into the rear usb port on your computer closest to the charger port it will charge your phone as well as allow you to surf at the same time :>

actually ive been doin that and it does show that its charging and the light that indicates charging is on but it still drains it...it does give me about a good 2 hours or so before it completely drains the battery :)

mmmm odd well 2 hours isnt too bad to tell the truth..... with the money your saving from not having to pay for tethering you can get some extra batteries.... they arent that expensive anymore for the mogul and you can find oem ones for a good price..... and have a good thanksgiving girl :>

I just figured this out yesterday...[Start], [Settings], [Connections], [Wi - Fi], Highlight WiFiRouter, then [Menu], [Edit], [Next], Change "Data Encryption" from "Disabled" to "WEP", and enter "Network Key" Passcode (Your own)...complete and change setting on your PC/Laptop. This was performed with no issues on my Mogul, 6.1, Stock ROM. I did not see this posted anywhere else...hopefully this is of some use.

lol ya thats the connection rate to your phone....your actual speed is different....depending where you are, coverage wise....evdo or 1x.....hope that helps.

yes you could i guess but i have tried and the lag just forces you to get kicked off so it is pretty much useless other than to chat with your online buddies.

Yes it works on the Touch Pro, You just have to turn your Wi Fi first and then connect and you are good to go !!!!!!!!:camera:

Works very well. One thing that I have noticed is that if I have wifi off WMWifi will turn it on for me.

Also, the SN for the new WMWifi worked for me.

ive noticed that i dont have to have my phone hooked up to my laptop via the usb cord to get a wireless signal. i just turn on the wifi switch and run wmwifirouter and the wireless network shows up. just thought id share that.

I installed this app and it installed fine. I turned on the app and it says connected and I found it on my laptop and I was able to connect to it, but it connects only for "local connection" and I'm not able to get any internet. What should I do?

Yeah, it turns it on automatically for the touch pro. It says it's connected on my PPC and on my computer it says it is connected to my phone, but it's a local connection and When I click on internet explorer on my laptop, I don't get internet

try repairing the connection...also make sure your internet sharing is working...

to repair the connection just right click the little limited or no connection sign on the bottom right corner of your screen and a menu should pop up...click repair connection...and to make sure your internet sharing is working you want to plug in your phone to your pc or laptop using your usb cable and then just open your internet sharing app and push connect...if it doesnt work it will tell you something like check usb connection ...and if you still get the local internet only then it might be the network settings on your pc/laptop.....

when you say internet sharing app, do you mean wmwifi router?? Or do I need to download another program in addition to wifi router to get the tethering to work?

there is an app that already comes STOCK on the pro that is called internet sharing..look for it in your programs....

Yeah, it says check USB connection, but sometimes it says connected. I then open up wifi router and it should work?

well this is not exactly a fix for it..its more of a test to see if your internet sharing is working...like i said..if you still keep getting the local only thing...it might be your network settings...
