My PPC6800 - A Dream A Big Thanks
First of all, I want to thank Dash for this amazing website. Big props to him and all the moderators / contributors that keep this site alive.
A little background info: I've had the worst luck with cellular devices ever since my first phone. I always seem to end up in the wrong place at the wrong time, let the wrong person ''look at it'' and end up dropping it, or just messing with the hardware files itself and messing up the phone Previous phones: Sanyo PM 8200, Sanyo Katana, Samsung Upstage, Lg Rumor, PPC6800! 4 Days ago, I was looking to buy a new cell phone. I was looking at Sidekicks, Sidekick LX's to be specific. I really just wanted a phone that had a nice AIM application, texting, qwerty keyboard, and can make calls. 3 Days ago, I ran across an ad on craigslist ''Sprint Mogul'' I do some research on the mogul, fascinated about the idea of a Windows Mobile Phone, and the idea of a PC in your pocket. I buy the phone, at a price of 215$ brand new in the box. 2 Days ago, I finally decide its time for some new applications, and after seeing all the amazing customization you could do to it, I was a bit sketchy at first, but I downloaded my first application - Skyfire. After being amazed with how easy it was to install and how great it is, I go on an application Rampage, downloading 4 applications and installing them on my phone These app's are - S2U, BeeJive, MobiTv, GH3, and PocketRar. 1 Day ago, I came to conclude that this phone is the best portable electronic device I've ever used, heard about, or had in my whole life. Today, I decide to make a huge appreciaiton and why Im thankful to everyone here at Smartphonejunkie. I've asked the noobest of noob questions, I've been a pain in the butt, but in the end, I've got all the help I needed, and everybody is absurdly friendly. I have not customized my mogul too much with custom themes or roms YET. I figure might as well wait until I'm bored of the Stock Interface. I know this isnt really a ''help'' thread, but I do own a PPC6800, and did not know any other place to make this thread. Big Thanks to: Dash, BigJew, Shownuf, Metalmayhem, and anyother friendly / helpful person on this website, You all made me wake up every day excited just to play around with my phone, or to look up videos on youtube about them, or customize it even more. I've never done this at ALL with any phone, or any electronic for that matter. Again: Thank you SMJ |

Re: My PPC6800 - A Dream A Big Thanks
I would like to say thanks too. I never thought that I would stayed up all night modifying my phone. I realized that I could be using other website to do the same thing, but nothing beats the friendliness here at Wckediden and the softwares that Wckediden offers to it's VIP members. I don't know how much all of this would of have cost me if I didn't have Wckediden. I could of have used other sites to get my software, but who knows what kind of virus and crap my computer would of have contracted.
I used to come in here almost every minute, but now that I had my phone just the way I want it, I only come in here 3-4 times/week just to see what I am missing out on. Thank you so much Wckediden. |
