It looks like you have the mogul, so you have built in wifi. You should be able to use WMWifiRouter to connect your linux box to the internet via the wifi on your mogul. I don't own a mogul, nor have I ever used WMWifiRouter, but it's worth a try. |

Ok, look for a program called SynCE. Looks like it comes with Ubuntu, but like everything else in linux land, you should be able to get it on OpenSUSE. Read up about it here:

Re: How do I tether on OpenSUSE Linux for internet
I apprecaite all the replies, this is what I came up with on my own before I got to your replies and it works:
================================================== ======= Well being a newbie at OpenSUSE 11.0... I figured it out on my own... but if I can help anyone else out I will share.... first of all you need to go find a package called: usb-rndis-lite You will only find the source code and need to check it out from sourceforge.net (I think, but you can search and find it). Then if you are a newbie like me just make sure you have EVERYTHING to compile it with, my one newbie mistake was "not" having the "kernel sources" package installed so it would not compile and kept bombing out... Once you have all that there is a config file you need to create and there are GR8 resource for usb-rndis-lite so go have fun and you can tether your phone and get on the internet.... The rest I will let you figure out on your own :) :) :) Take it easy!!! Tom |
