Diamond question regarding wifi

Hey guys quick question. I dont have the data package on my phone yet, but since the Diamond has WifI, I can get online when I am at home, school, ect. My question is when I have the Wifi turned on, can I use the Sprint Navigation? Or when you are going through your contacts and when you click menu it gives you the option to "map it" or "drive to" can I use those features when I am using the Wifi without being charged? no you cant use the gps because 1 you wont have wifi on a car trip the whole way, 2 you need to have it added to your plan and activated.

Thanks Dash, I understand that I wont be able to use it in the car, but when I am at home and am using wifi I should be able to use it to get directions right?

no your not going to be able to do it from wifi you need a data pack for that......

if you're on wifi just get directions from mapquest. Or you can just get a GPS program that has the maps preloaded into it. that way you wont even need the internet at all. you just need some space free on your internal storage. :)
