How, I prithee, oh how, does one change the name of their \Windows\welcomehead.96.png when it's a READ ONLY file? I can see it just fine, via ActiveSync, but the file is protected, not allowing me to rename or delete it so I can add a custom welcome screen.

Is there a different app, or procedure, I should be utilizing?

hi and thanks you shut use total commander to rename just drop in you windows map and overwright the welcomehead.96.png oke

Thanks but I've tried Total Commander and had no positive results. I've changed the file attributes and even tried simply deleting the file.

Could Verizon have made the phone where the directory itself is protected and the components can't be changed\edited\deleted by the user?

Thanks but now I have a little bit of a bigger problem. I flashed my phone using Kaos's custom brew and now it's hungup at the splashscreen and will not advance (load into Windows CE), even with a hard reset after leaving the battery out for 1+ minutes.

Given that my XV6900 (HTC Touch) is a company phone, I'm sure it won't go over well. Any ideas on this one?
