Hello from the FNG
Just wanted to say "Hello" and introduce myself. I just upgraded from a Palm Treo 700wx to an HTC Touch Pro (Verizon version). I wish I found this website first, because I found out that Verizon locks down the GPS function on the phone, so that it only works with VZ Navigator. Anyways, I am sure I will find plenty of helpful info on this site. Thanks.

hey glad ya found us! you will be happy to know Verizon just announced yesterday they will be unlocking the GPS in certain WM phones. the Touch Pro being one of them! just be patient for them to release the update, they said sometime before the first half of 2009 is over.

We have everything you need for your ppc. Take some time to get familiar with the side menu and the search feature in green. If you have any questions feel free to ask in the respective thread or if not threaded already in the help desk also from the side menu. There is No PM's to Moderators or Admins or Trial Staff asking how to unlock my phone where to download things or how to install things there is threads for that. ALSO READ THE NOOB GUIDE AND THE RULES. Also if you download anything hit the INSTALL and THANKS BUTTON. Have fun and enjoy this great site.
