Got me a touchpro for cheap from sprint

Alright guys so I recently got Sprint to give me a touch pro for $300. I followed pretty much everything that everyone else that have been successfull did. Since I'm not the account holder, I had my mother call retentions and tell them that we have two numbers on our account with a mogul and have had to replace each one twice due to device malfunction. At first the retentions lady said that there was nothing that could be done. Then I had my mom bring up all of the known issues such as the keypad requiring multiple key presses and entering a character multiple times when it is only pressed once, terrible battery life, lack of internal storage memory and other known issues that were supposed to be fixed with all of the rom updates and still not fixed to our satisfaction. In addiction to this we also pointed out that we needed the slide out keyboard because we do a lot of emailing for work and school from the phone. We also complained about the fact that since we had to replace both phones recently and they sent us refurbs instead of new ones, we have had the phones for less than a year, that we were very dissapointed and were considering breaking our contract and switching to verizon(sprint hates when you say that :-D) We told them that we don't want anything for free, just something that will put an end to these problems (my mom is very persuasive) She offered us $150 off of the phones plus another $100 rebate and a $100 dollar account credit making the touch pro $300...the worst thing about this whole thing is that my birthday is on the 24th this month and my mom and girlfriend got together and decided to give this to me as a birthday present so I won't be able to get my hands on my new toy till later this month, hahaha. So while its not the best deal that some people have gotten, it is still better than paying full price. You got lucky but still gotta pay lol and if you stayed on the phone you probaly could have gotta free pro like me but i suggest you call back and say your tired of giving them money and they shouldent have to pay for a new phone because of all the problems with the mogul and stuff like that

well actually nothing for the touch pro is better than 300, but 300 is muuuuch better than the 700 dollar price theyre selling it at without new contract deal...

yeah i don't know how the lady managed it but she did, and the local sprint store here has them in stock

yeah 300 is definitely better than 700 and if i was the account holder, I definitely would have pushed for $0 but my mom settled for the 300 and i can't complain

wow man thats nice, i had a touch and i spent weeks on retentions and sprint reps trying to get a swap, i got a diamond for 53$ bucks and i got to keep my touch that was having some common problems...thing is how did you manage to get "TWO!" pros, and keep the diamond what kinda complaint did yu do or do u have more lines, cuz i have 3 lines and i would like to update them all with touch devices, preferrably the pro. any help or guidance on what i can do next now that i have my diamond and my touch.? thanks

i got my diamond for $167 2 weeks b4 they even launched in stores i broke my old phone in like 8 pieces, so i went in to my local repair store and explained what happened they said that i could get $75 off any phone on the floor. so lodgically i asked for a manager after about 20mins the clerk came out and said that the store manager was not in but the CORP. MANAGER would be there in 5mins YES YES YES:yahoo: YES YES YES. i talked to him for about 15mins and conviensed him to give me the new contract pricing,,,,, well i was looking online for a phone before i went in and seen that the diamond was due soon. i asked him about it and he said he had the modle that was suposed to be their display when it came out so i told him to sell me it he said ok and gave me an aditanal $100 off $249 minus $100 = $149+ activation and upgrade prices $167 (sorry for the long story but good for ideas for others) im running stock rom with S2U2,TouchPal and other small apps i found that TF3D config can cause freezing so no themes and i like the stock sprint look:yahoo:
