HTC Music Tab problem
OK, here goes. On the TF3D Music tab's library, I have one or two albums that show up twice. For example, 10 songs in album "A" when they are placed on my storage card. But when I open the library I have 9 songs in album "A", and 1 song in album "B".
I checked in WinMo Media Player and the albums show up correctly. I checked in CorePlayer and the albums show up correctly. I've gone back into the .mp3 files and checked the meta data with iTunes, MetaX, and other programs and all of it is correct. I like the way the library works in the music tab, and hate having to search for music in Core and WinMo. Is there anyone else who has run into this? Is there a way to correct it? |

Re: HTC Music Tab problem
Ya, I have each album in it's own folder under the artist with the album art as folder.jpg.
I deleted the song that was on it's own album, re-ripped it from CD, and added fresh tags and it seems to have fixed it. I don't know if some BS tag was throwing it off or what. But I was looking at the library list by song, and it lists all my music like this: ._01 Get Stoned ._01 Something In Your Mouth ._02 Burn It To The Ground etc... then below that it lists the actual song with the album art. What the heck are those files listed at the top? |

._01 whatever ._01 whatever (track one from a different album) ._02 whatever ._03 etc then below these it lists the songs again, only this time just the title and the album art. There is no "._" or track number. So, it goes: ._01 whatever ._01 whatever ._01 whatever (track one from a different album) ._02 whatever ._03 whatever <ART> Action! Not Words <ART> Animal <ART> Another Hit & Run etc. They are all listed in alphabetical order, which is why the ._# files are first. I just don't know what the ._# files are. Why are they there? Where did they come from? Did that help or did I just make it worse??? LOL |
