Overview Using GpsSpot you can easily save any location and using the built-in or attached GPS device the application will show you at what distance and in what direction the saved spot is.


Using GpsSpot you can easily save any location and using the build-in or attached GPS device the application will show you at what distance and in what direction the saved spot is.
Without any difficulties you will find every saved spot again, like your parking space, your bicycle in front of yesterdays bar, the next cash machine or bus stop.

Application's highlights:
* Finger-friendly handling without using the stylus.
* Saving the current location with just two finger taps.
* Prevent the device from going to stand-by while the application is running.
* Displays the distance in meter or miles/yards.
* The direction arrow can also be displayed in a high-contrast color for a good perceptibility even on bright day light.
* All currently common device resolutions are supported by GpsSpot.
* It is possible to switch the language of the application between english and german.
What's New in This Release:

New functions:
· Windows Mobile 6.5 compatible.
· An image can be associated with every spot.
· A photo of the spot can be taken from within the application.
· On application start the last selected spot is selected.
· Coordinates can now also be entered in minutes and seconds.
· At the top area the current altitude above sea level and the current traveling speed is shown.
· New button at the "manage spot"-window to set the current coordinates.
· Turkish translation.

Changes:
· Improved user interface on WVGA screens.
· The coordinates of the selected spot are also shows if no GPS lock is present.
· If the option "prevent stand-by" is selected also the background light stays on.
· On editing an old spot, its coordinates are copied to the text boxes.

Bug fixes:
· Crash fixed if empty coordinates are entered.
· Crash fixed if no spot exit.

I've had this program for a little while now and looking forward to see what upgrades. I will say I end up forgetting to use it on many occasions(a majority of the time). Not that it's a necessity, but nice to have when you go to huge parking lots and park for a while. Nice concept ;)
