Htc touch screen problems

Hey I have the HTC TOUCH XV6900 and it has never had water damage or anything..and for some reason the touch screen works perfect at times but every now in then recently it has been acting up and when I press buttons it dont do anything..then I press harder and it will sometimes work..Could this possibly be something ive installed? does it need an update? what could be wrong? I know it has no water damage so dont know why all of a sudden it could be doing this?? any help? suggesstions?

Have u flashed it or unlocked it? And what apps have u installed

sounds to me like its just ti me for a hard reset.... you have been soft reseetting at least everyh other day correct? and alos have you tried using a tool like sktools to clean out the registry and your phone so it can run smoother again....

no never flashed it or unlocked it..just basically installed bunch of apps..other then that its like factory but I have SD problems and everytime I put i put stuff on my memory card and take my battery out then turn it back on the stuff on my storage card is gone, and I get errors.. like one of the components of such and such is missing..and I get data call errors..when I dont make calls..it says something like ph.1 error or something dont remember and there will be an ! at the top of the screen and I havent even called anyone..or anything..just to name a few I have installed Microsoft Net framework 3.5, iphone space, idialer, icontacts, iplayer, SU2U, light saber, bunch of games..could it be an app doing it, or is it the phone?

yes soft reset everyday ..this sounds stupid but how do I hard reset is it going to delete any of my stuff, and where can I find that Sktools or whatever?

Could be s2u2 bro try unistalling all the programs c if there is a problem with some thing u installed or its a phone defect

well as you said you have added and uninstalled alot of stuff to your deivce..... with all those errors your best off going with a hard reset.... you can do this by pressing and holding the red and greeen buttons while soft resetting and than follow the steps on the screen. before you do this ou will want to use an app like pim backup to backup your text messages as well as other important things loiek your contacts.

Hey mate, yeah hard reset will delete everything so make sure you do as Dash said before you hard reset.
