* PW Updater - Weather templates - fixed "IsImageURLEnabled" handling
* CustomView scripts - added "ANYalert" variable and conditional - added more variations on alert variable formats and conditions
* WeatherTemplates handling - was resetting the user and alert messages
* Fixed weather data expiry handling when timestamp is before now - was overflowing unsigned value...
* Fixed hourly forecast data - was not being flagged as forecast data
* Fixed/improved detection of valid hourly forecast data
* Set minimal schedule update rate to 9 minutes, instead of 10 minutes, which was clashing with minimal update rate of 10 minutes
* Fixed HasHourlyForecastData for CheckForDisplayingCurrentHourlyForecast mode - was not checking for future hourly forecasts
* When converting wind direction text to enumeration, now handles degrees
* Added "alerts" on menu below "WeatherConsole" if a location has currently active alerts - launches directly into WeatherConsole onto the appropriate alerts page
* When Today/Home or WC is checking to see whether to start an update, now ignore the scheduled update flag - will continue to check to see whether an update is needed depending on the age of data. This means that even when PW scheduled are enabled, PW will still update as-and-when required when the device is awake.
* Added WeatherTemplate support for "IsalertsEnabled("")". Updated weather templates to us IsalertsEnabled
* "Detailed" view - changed text colour on title panels to be black - makes it usable on the Today/Home screen
* Weather.com has disabled access to the xoap service which PW uses to convert zip code to latitude/longitude - PW now uses two new different services to convert zip to latitude/longitude
* If a user manually adds a location using its locationID, was failing to extract the location name - fixed
* Fixed download timeout abort handing
* Added support for "OnlyDoThisIfImageURLNotAlreadyConfigured"
* Fixed a couple of threading issues in customview handling
* WC Overview - fixed day-8 "Next" handling - was going to wrong page name
* Following temporary failure of Earthquake feed "http://neic.usgs.gov/neis/finger/quake.asc", PW now used "http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/catalogs/1day-M2.5.xml" for earthquake feed - this is updated more frequently.
* Fixed earthquake data handling - was loosing closes location info
* Fixed exporting of timezone ID and name
* Disabled logging for pwcmstub
* Added Weather Underground international current conditions feed
* When selecting custom feed, force the selected station to custom feed
* Fixed auto-configuring of custom weather template ids
* Lots and lots of speed/efficiency optimisations to make processing of downloaded weather data faster.

Changes to PocketWeather 2.3.1 RC2 (Build 4573):
* Update to ICAO/METAR station database
* Improvements to automatic image handling - now remembers whether a location has already had automatic images added
* Minor adjustment to reporting of download times information
* Optimised use of custom weather templates for current conditions to reduce download time.
* Rework/optimisation of time difference optimisation - had a bug which in certain conditions gave incorrect results, and was also inefficient.
* Downloads normally must complete within 30 minutes, after which the download is automatically aborted. If downloads repeatedly take more than 30 minutes (10 consecutive occurrences), report a warning to the user.
* PC Desktop world weather live map - fixed image calibration issues - was in some circumstances using the wrong calibration values.
* Earthquake data - was loosing closest location distance information on subsequent updates
* PC PocketWeather - increased maximum number of tabs from 64 to 100 (yes I have more than 64 on my PC!)
* PC installation - was missing some custom view layout scripts
* Fixed repeated updating with low update rate issue.
* Improved nearly time to update handling for low update rates

* SP Home Screen plugin - fixed first run issue whereby the background does not get setup, resulting in a loop
* Added Foreca weather template provided by forum user - thank you!
* Fixed buffer overflow in decoding GIF images
* PW Options - Added additional option for enabling notification/alert sounds

* For a location with maps configured, but disabled, would display incorrect image timestamp message of "Never updated" instead of "Disabled" - fixed

* Fixed weather alerts from being displayed when disabled for locations
* WeatherConsole:Map view - no longer crops image size when zoom results in image being bigger - this was resulting in scaling/positioning issues
* WC alerts view - increased height to allow for long alert messages to be displayed.
* Custom View scripts - fixed "ROTATE" - in manual, stated "ROTATION". Updated manual to always use "ROTATE", but also now supports "ROTATION" for backward compatibility
* WeatherConsole: Earthquake Map view - added displaying distance to closest configured location and closest location in panel.
* WeatherConsole: Earthquake Map/Detailed views - now supports double tapping change views and selected the previously selected event
* WeatherConsole: Earthquake Detailed view - supports column sorting
* WeatherConsole: Earthquake Map view - fixed issue where tapping near an event would not always select that event. This was because the total number of events exceeded 64. Limited increased substantially.
* WeatherConsole - Fixed system touch areas when WC view scrolls vertically and "covers" the bottom tabs
* Hotlinks - fixed issue where touch zones get confused with touch points (which uses closest distance - aka EQ map).
* WC - fixed dragging issue where by it gets into state of always having the mouse down - particularly an issue on PC
* WC - fixed dragging issue where the offset gets confused
* WeatherConsole:Earthquake Map view - decreased cross-hair size, and improved zoom centering issue
* Improvement to WeatherConsole Overview custom view
* Improvement to Today/Home Overview custom view
* Custom Views - fixed historical weather data handling - was broken
* Fixed WeatherConsole automatic image touch handling
* Settings button - when updating, instead of just flashing, now displays icon of the particular item being updated, giving an indication of what is currently being updated. Note that the icons can be skinned - see updated custom view manual for details under ";SETTINGS"
PocketWeather 2.3.1 RC4 is a quick bug-fix to RC3 to fix non-USA locations having their Latitude's being reset back to 1.0.
Changes to PocketWeather 2.3.1 RC4 (Build 4785):

well just as i tried last update & ditched this app, figured i would give the new update a shot. i now remember why i dont like this app. compared to the other 5 weather/radar apps i have installed this one is the worst.

It appears to have a decent amount of information regarding the weather, but its just lame. its nice to have alternatives but this one hasn't made it to my "approved" lists. thanks for the update, but these guys are behind the times imo.
