another broken phonemake this number 6

ok, so i had 4 mougls, and they all broke. so alltel gave me a touch pro. which is cool. then that phones keyboard stopped working so i took it in, then they gave me a brand new TP, and now the keyboard doesnt work again. and just today the screen is stuck in landscape mode, unless i bend the top part a certain way, and the keyboard still doesnt work.

ive seen the thread about taking apart the phone, but alltel was good enough to put a special insert in the screw hole saying void, so if i remove it it will void it.

another problem is that alltel has merged with verizon. so no more alltel stores. i went into verizon today and they dont have any alltel TPs, and i dont like the TP that verizon came out with. ugly looking. the guy said he could give me a HTC ozone, but it looked like a downgrade. and he said my plan would change cause id be switching to a verizon phone. so it might look like im stuck with this phone that i cant type on, thats stuck in landscape mode. im very pissed at the least. so any ideas on what i can do? i would think they should have to give me a new phone for free since its still under warranty. i guess im going to a different verizon tomorrow. these PPCs are getting on my nerves. im not having good luck with them. any help would be cool. thanks everyone

why dont you try and flash a custom ROM as maybe Alltel's bloatware is messing up the keyboard after it build up too much memory.. this is just a thought.. who wants stock ROM anyway?

thanks. yeah ive tried everything except a custom rom. i just dont know which one to use, as i want my mms to keep working properly and i havent found one that would make this happen.

ok ill try and flash and then let you know how that worked out. im almost positive its a harware issue tho. im pretty sure some plugs came unplugged. cause if i hold it the right way, the screen will flip back to portrait...keyboard still wont work tho. but once i let go of it it flips back

Yea something tells me its the phones ,when my keyboard gave out i flashed to stock and nothing i flashed back to the rom dash just mentioned nothing flashed back to stock and i took it in for repair!

ok. so they were gonna send me another one this time, but the warehouse didnt have anymore...so i had to get the verizon TP. I already dont like it. but its a phone that works. the RAM is a lot less. my alltel one had around 140 free mb with some programs open. this one has 60mb with all programs closed. and the keyboard is all messed up. i just read reviews and it looks like this one is pretty buggy and a lot slower than the other version...ugh.
