Building TP ROM NEED BETA TESTERS! - Wckediden

I am a firm believer in giving what people they what when it comes to this site.. I am planning on building a ROM but want to know what you guys want? I am starting with the basics like WM 6.1 or WM 6.5? Touchflo3D or Touchflo3D-2? I am not asking for apps or anything like that?? I just want your feedback on these and maybe a theme. I dont plan on building 2 versions, although this maybe possible. Remember, this is for you.. So lets hear what you have to say.. I can build any ROM I'd like..

i think battery life can make or brake a rom...i like 6.5...

maby do make 2 but have one with touchflo3d2 and one with just titanium sicne 3d2 is still very naggy and problem filled for me.

Im getting the following error when cooking... (see below)..

"Error Building default.hv and user.hv!" I know im at least 3 quarters down with the complete build..

Any ideas?

I agree with DASH. Or even make one with TF3D and TF3D2 but def wm6.5 .

nah... been working on getting it fixed all day... at first, i thought it was my machine, so i tried my xp machine, which took forever to get everything setup on that machine.. a cooked on xp machine and got the same error.. so atleast i know its something in the build... man... i havent done this in a while and a lot of things have changed... looks like i might have to start crawlin like a baby on this one....im workin on fixing as we speak.

when i use to get that "Error Building default.hv and user.hv!" i think i had conflicting or duplicate registries. like HKLM/Drivers/builtin/battery/pollinterval=5000 & HKLM/Drivers/builtin/battery/pollinterval=20000 being cooked in at the same time in different parts of the kitchen, it can be a pain to find them...good luck

add a customerizing program to change icons, text, operator name, change color, themes etc.... The wm6.5 builds ive installed have eaten memory after awhile see if you could cook a rom that has 25mb or more memory available if possible. ill stop there cuz i could on on. if i knew how i would cook one of my own.

ummm this is not for the mogul this is for the touch pro and if he only had 25 left on a touch pro build he is a horrible chef hahaha you will want to look for mogul aka 6800 aka titan roms.

Big Thanks Big Jew for taking your time to do this for us at Wckediden. I use titanium and like everyone else battery life, smooth fast and easy on the eyes. Thanks again.

hey jewbie...here is my suggestion, if its great battery you guys want,stick with 6.1 b.c no matter what reg entry u use, 6.5's battery life wont be good...its something in the sys not sure what but my boy nrgz and colonel,guru etc can confirm it....now if that aint the case then 6.5 is for u, 65 is amazing and a beast some bugs yes but still manageable. i say do 3 roms all 6.5...one sghould be titanium alone,other shiuold bet both titanium and tf3d2 with regular htc s2a and last should be both titanium and tf3d2 wuth the tachi dialer, tf3d2 has come along way and the bugs are very very minimal,and there will be an update very soon with more fixes....dont put custom taskbar icons b/c if u do that, and someone installs anither set of 6.5 taskbar icons it will break them and therefore screw things up...so leave them stock icons bro, if u need help iwth new packages let me kno i got a fewor i can make some oems for u...now ur good to go my brother....

Alright guys... here is the scoop.. I got all the errors worked out (THANKS TO BROKSI).... I have came to the conclusion for now based on what you guys want and how well the device will RUN... I have made 2 beta ROMS...Both are WM6.5. One has Touchflo3d (not tflo3d-2), and the other has NO TOUCHFLO. This is my first ROM in 10 months.. Please PM or post here if you would like to beta test the ROM so I can send you a link... Also, let me know which ROM you wanna test out (if not both)...I am working really closely with Broski in the next future builds... i would like to thank ALL those that have given me their feedback and thank you to those are interested in testing the BETA ROM out....

yea its been about 7-8 months since my last release.. Now, that I got this thing going again, lets hope i wont stop... All i can say is, dedication. Without Broski's help, I wouldnt be able to get this done, so MADD PROPS to my dude. Thanks for the compliment PB... Im gonna keep doin what i do best, and thats doing me!

i started a NEW thread for the BETA ROMS... right now I only have WM6.5 beta with NO TOUCHFLO3D... I am working on the Touchflo3D ROM.. Its been a long weekend with these ERRORS and hopefully now its smooth sailing. thanks .

well here is an update on touchflo3d ROM... I decided to do 2 other ROMs... I havent started one of them.. I am going to do a WM6.1 and touchflo3D ROM, (more every day business users) and one Wm6.5 Touchflo3d-2 Rhodium ROM.. The Touchflo3d-2 Rhodium ROM is almost complete. I am having issues with Touchflo3d-2 restarting when i scroll to the weather TAB and its becoming a pain.. too much for one day... WM6.1 with touchflo3d should be done sooner, as that one I dont believe isnt going to be a problem.... thank you all again!

on the one where u have 6.5 with tf3d2 is it possible to have skyfire on the internet tab ??? just asking don know if its ok or not...... if it is i would like that over opera..... and i will definetely test ur rom whenever its ready man.....

Dont think i will do that.. as opera is standard on the PRO and not everyone will use Skyfire as resolution and word resizing on pages arent the greatest. Although, i can cook skyfire in, but wont be by default when clicking internet from touchflo
