Usb port/warranty problem
Hey guys. My problem is that for some reason my pro just will not charge or hook up to my computer. Ive tried multiple chargers and usb cords and none will work. I called HTCs warranty company (i guess) and they told me that as long as it hasnt been a year they will fix it for free. My problem is that Im on a custom ROM and cannot get it flashed back to stock because I cant get it connected to my pc. If I send this phone to be repaired on this custom ROM are they going to consider my warranty voided or give me any other trouble? If it is gonna be a problem does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do? I appreciate any help I can get.

flash with the sd card. much easier and you dont have to plug it in the computer.. dash has directions in his sig on how to flash with the sd card.

yuppers and you can find the stock rom stickied in the roms area :)

I was just about to ask a similar question, the battery stopped charging on me today, is that what the problem is the usb port not the battery? my battery charges a little bit then goes back down i cant get is past ten percent. is there a way to do i diagnostic test to know what the problem is?

i ould try to get another battery from the sprint store, if it goes back down it sounds like it is not holding a charge, if u get another battery and it is still happening then u know its something possibly with the phone.......
